30、语从句的语序和时态,本讲主要讲述由特殊疑问句转变而来的宾语从句。 如果宾语从句是由特殊疑问句转变而来的,其引导词用原来的疑问词即可。他们在宾语从句中充当一定的成分,故不能省略引导词。如:Tom asked me,“when did you begin to study English?”=Tom asked me when I began to study English.【口诀】陈述that 来引导,有时可以省略掉。一般疑问句表“是否”,if或whether来引导。特殊疑问句作宾从,疑问词连接就可行。 特别提醒:当引导词作宾语从句的主语或主语的定语时,宾语从句的语序等同于陈述句。即:主句+引

31、导词引导词+名词+谓语+其他。如:He didnt know how many boys would come. Do you know who runs fastest?2.宾语从句小结在复合从句中,由一个句子充当宾语,这个句子叫做宾语从句。引导宾语从句的常见引导词有that,if,whether,what,who,where,why和how等。从句原形引导词列句陈述句That(在口语或非正式文体中常省略)I think (that)Halloween is a fun festival.一般疑问句Whether,if(在口语中常用if)I wonder if/whether April i

32、s a good time to visit Thailand.特殊疑问句Who,what,when,which,where,how,whyCould you please tell me where the restrooms are?【 知识生成】east, west, north, south用法要点:1. 前通常加 the;表在某个方位,常介词 in。如:He lives in the south (north). 他住在南(北)方。【注】有时也不用冠词。如:East or west, home is best. 东好西好不如自己的家好。2. 表示“在的东(南,西,北)”,通常应根据情

33、况选用不同介词in(表示在范围之内),to(表示在范围之外),on(表示毗连)。如:China is in the east of Asia. 中国位于亚洲的东部。Mexico is to the south of the U. S. A. 墨西哥在美国以南。China faces the Pacific on the east. 中国东临太平洋3. 用作副词,其前不用介词,但有时其后可接介词短语。如:The village lies east of the woods. 村庄位于树林东面。比较:The village lies to the east of the woods. 4. 汉语中
