2、m to a safe condition in the event of an emergency shutdown.ConditionsAn emergency shutdown of the Peroxidation Purge Collection System should occur in the event of a gasket failure, line rupture, fire/explosion, or a utilities failure. In an emergency shutdown condition, only the control valves wil

3、l be closed using the valves controller unless a control valve is suspected of leaking through. In those special cases, a block valve will have to be manually closed to eliminate the leakage.NOTE: This is for Training only, and is not intended to be used as a step by step procedure.PO/MTBEGUIDELINE

4、Ensure no high oxygen concentration is present in this system. Close FV-15015 on purge line to Purge Condenser. Block in upstream block valve on FV-16126/17126/18126 purge to 01E0108. Close PV-15011 on purge line to 1st Isobutane Recycle Column 1st Vent Condenser. Close LV-15017 on liquid purge line

5、 to 1st Isobutane Recycle Column. Block in FI-15015A minimum nitrogen purge to 01D0150. Block in FI-15018 minimum nitrogen purge from 01D0150 to 01E0110-A/B. Close valve downstream of PV-15011 on purge line to 1st Isobutane Recycle Column 1st Vent Condenser. Close valve downstream of LV-15017 on purge line to 1st IC4 Recycle Column. Ensure PV-15001B/C is closed. Open valve to blowdown upstream of LV-15017. Open 40mm main blowdown block valve. Deinventory all liquid from system if necessary through blowdown using N20 nitrogen on FV-15015. Ensure fire f
