One is the game itself. Sometimes it is beyond any description. Football is a game of passes and techniques, p
3、assion and love, more importantly, unity is the key-the whole team working as one, united they will never be defeated. The Europeans style. of play is like a Waltz, the Brazilian like a Samba, and the passionate Argentineans play as if they are doing a Tango. Football is so unpredictable, so unbelie
4、vable. You will never know who will win until the last minute. Especially when suddenly there is a goal, the fans who have been sitting on the edge of their seats, will be wild with joy and excitement; and the losers with disappointed hearts will despair over their teams. The other is of course the
5、super stars. Each one has his own personality, just like my idol Ronaldo. When he smiles, we all smile with him. Who can forget that buck-toothed smile, or that unique hairstyle. during the xx World Cup. Ronaldo was born to a poor family. He has set an example to children who cant afford a pair of s
6、hoes, but have talent and a passion for football. He gives them confidence and hope of a better future. Football is the game that wins everyones heart and the best game ever invented. I received a devastating blow to my self-confidence in the first interview of my college years. I applied to be a ho
7、st in our Student Acting Troupe and felt confident that I would be aepted. But one of the panel members told me: You seem inadequate and you are a little vertically-challenged. My life has never been the same since. I used bigger heels to plement my height and psychological maneuvers and tricks to h
8、ide my lack of confidence. But no matter how hard I tried to look the part, there was still something missing. As president of English Club, I organized the rehearsal of Snow White for an English party. Unfortunately, we could not find an actor to be the last dwarf. It had to be someone who was humo
9、rous by nature and fluent in English. Suddenly, all eyes turned to me, and I knew I would have to be the dwarf. To my great surprise and delight, once on stage, I was totally absorbed in the performance and my humorous nature was put to full use. As the dwarf, I was a big hit. Yes, each of us is onl
10、y one among millions of others, but each of us is an individual and each of us is unique. Cultivating our individuality will transform our lives, making of them a kaleidoscope of new colors and textures. A world deprived of diversity would be a bland and boring place. The real tragedy is not being s
11、hort or shy or ugly, but having your identity lost in a world in which everyone is a clone of a model cool boy or a flawless charming girl. Given a choice, I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. Id rather be a genuine dwarf aompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Sn
12、ow Whites. I would rather be myself. I would contribute my individual and unique colors to create a more diverse universe. Please, be yourself. as we know, you have to learn how to fly much more independently instead of under your parents considerate protection when you get into college, which also
13、means you will e across enormous questions that should be solved by yourself. from my point of view, those main problems can fall into three parts. first of all, the plicated relationship. for one thing, you have to know how cultural differences function in your relationship and respect them. in add
14、ition, college students spend less time studying together owing to different courses choosing, which requires us to devote more energy to building relationship. for the other thing, it is also vital to municate with your parents often by using mobile phones or other tools. secondly, the temptations.
15、 the college serves us a more relaxed environment mixed with other temptations such as the inter, alcohols and so on. whats more, the college teachers wont pel you to study like before, you doze off or play cell phone in class, and you flee up the morning class because you get up too late. such too
16、frequent behaviors will cripple your passion and enthusiasm towards life, so it is essential for us to resist these temptations and insist pursuing our own goals. thirdly, the balance between study and work. most of us will choose to take a part time job to earn the extra money or just to exercise ourselves. but it is significant to keep a relatively balanced relationship between them since i always regard the study as our main task, so my principle
