this paper, we report an unexpected, acute effect of gdnf on a-type potassium channels, leading to a potentiation of neuronal excitability, in the dopaminergic neurons in culture as well as in adult brain slices. further, we show that gdnf regulates the k+ channels through a mechanism that involves activation of map kinase. thus, this study has revealed, for the first time, an acute modulation of ion channels by gdnf. our findings challenge the classic view of gdnf as a long-term survival factor for midbrain dopaminergic neurons, and suggest that the normal function of gdnf is to regulate normal mode decomposition. the horizontal scale of disturbance is measured by the phase speed of a rossby mode c. according to the analysis result for the barotropic component of the atmosphere, we obtain a characteristic energy spectrum with distinct slopes for the turbulence and wave regimes separated by the spherical rhines speed. in order to explain the observational finding that the energy 以上的。当然国内的综述性杂志文献还是可以看看的，特别 是那些刚刚接触陌生研究领域，马上看国外文献可能象看天书，先阅读一些国内有关综述，别 人帮你阅读消化整理过的，何乐而不为呢。 2.看文献的同时注意随时摘录，好记性不如烂笔头。 英语论文的写作实际上又很多现成固定的模式和表达方法， 将这些固定用法随时做笔记，并随时复习，加上不断阅读新文献，自己动手写时也就不会举步 维艰。 3.课题设计的 idea 十分重要，你的观点的创新性决定了你的文章能不能受到 editor 和 reviewer 的青睐。 4.实验完成开写文章，或者时自己写，是在不行，就找几篇与你的课题十分相近的文章阅读， 有些表述方法可以直接借鉴，当然不可以直接照搬，必须进行适当的修改，如语序，近义词替 换等等。最后进行通篇连贯的阅读，总体使其变得通顺。投稿前必须仔细修改，不可仓促投稿， 可以先放几天，在回头来看，这样反复多次。最好的话是请英语高手帮你修一修。或者也可以 请一般同学看看，从别人的角度来取长补短。 5.投递建议多投网上可以 submission 的杂志，快又省钱，投之前好好看看 guideline for authors。严格按照上面的条例修改，象图片的分辨率等等细节都要十分注意。 6.修回的稿件一般是要求 point to point 的回复，必须一一进行回答，个人建议是所有问题最 好都按要求去做，这样的 accept 可能性很高，当然审稿人的水平也有不同，有些明显错误的 观点应当用详细的理由加以回复，有可能的话附上参考文献增加可信度。 7.文章基本上 accept 了，有时审稿人会要求你把文章给专业领域离地英语专家修改，有些人 可能未必找的到，那怎么办，呵呵，那就自己来，反复阅读，尽量减少一些低级错误比如拼写 和语法，还有就是表述以简洁至上,simple is the best。再就是尽量多改一些地方（这是一滥 招，高手就免了），就算没什么错误的地方可改用别的表达方法，表面上看来编辑部会觉得你 很严谨仔细，呵呵，反复多看看，多修，就能成功。 祝大家成功！ 各位都是牛人，都发了，我一篇都没发，不过谈谈失败的感觉，各位不要见笑，鼓励一下哈 以前做的一点点东西，内容不是很多，也没时间没钱再做了，写了一篇英文文章，投了两次都被 拒，已经投第三次了暂时还没消息。三次是三个不同的杂志，第三次的时候我选杂志更谨慎了， 选杂志的过程中增加了两点体会： 1、选择边缘杂志。如果你的东西不是特别新颖或者特别出色，那么对于那些十分十分专业、十 分十分对口的杂志来说，他们对你这个东西不一定会感兴趣，可能会觉得过时、没价值。这个时 候不妨考虑一些边缘杂志，跟你的东西只沾一点点边，那么就可能显示出一定的价值。这些是我 已经发了sci的师兄师姐传授的经验，拿来共享，我第三次投的就是一个比较边缘的杂志，虽然 有点投机，但不是坏事。 2、改刊的杂志。我现在投的这个杂志以前是双月刊，我矛盾了半天，因为双月刊审稿可能有点 慢。不过这本杂志今年改成月刊了，据牛人师兄师姐传授，通常改刊之初需稿量会大大增加，审 稿周期也会加快，于是我毫不犹豫的投了。具体如何有待验证，不过前人的经验应该不会错的。 至于怎么知道这个杂志是否改刊也很简单， 直接进数据库杂志每年文章列表， 一眼就看出最 近几年的变化。 关于书写方面，查阅大量文献、增强英文功底、找专家改稿等方法自不必说，其实用好google 也能省很多事： 你想表达一个意思，字典和参考文献里面查不到，自己又不熟悉这种语法，那么google会帮上 忙。一般来说，google+引号+星号可以判断一种短语甚至语法是否正确，判断方法是：加引号 搜索这个短语， 或者引号、 星号合用搜索某种语法， 如果出来的结果在几万以上， 那么说明你“发 明”的这种语言组合多半是正确的，如果只有几百条，就得谨慎了。 多多指教，如果文章发了，一定回来再谈经验。 投international journal 的几个基本注意事项 一, idea/内容要新, whatt new? 只要有创新, 一般就能发表. 所以, 在摘要, 前言和结论部分, 要突出强调自己的创新点, 就是与现有方法的不同, 优于他们 的地方是什么. 大牛审稿, 一般是先看摘要, 前言, 和结论. 如果这三个部分你没写清楚, 审稿 就麻烦了. 二, 在前言部分, 一定要把文献综述写好, 不能象国内论文, 故意不提同行的工作. 这在国外是 很招人恨的! 要把这个方向别人做的工作, 发表的论文, 一一提及, 在评论时, 只强调自己的方 法与他们的不同, 不要去贬低他们的工作. 因为国外论文审稿就是同行教授们审, 他们看了你 提了他的工作, 说明了你的方法不同在何处, 创新在何处, 就高兴. 否则, 打分就低. 三, 英文写作, 在一二都满足条件的情况下, 下一个特别重要的, 就是英文写作了. 特别是在国 内的学生向国外投稿. 如果提高英文写作呢? 1), 多读文献, 注意老外用的专业术语及通常写作方法. 注意学他们的笔法. 当然不要照抄. 只 要照抄一句, 在国外就是剽窃! 名声就臭了! 我建议大家每天都读一篇上的标题文章, 绝对长英文科技写作水平. 2), 自己写完全文后, 最好请英文老师帮着改一改写作. 可以给老师送点礼物. 实在不行, 花钱, 请专业人士帮你润色一下. 如果论文内容很好, 仅仅是因为写作不好, 被拒稿就太可惜了. 3), 当然, 其实应该是自己的导师帮着改改英文写作. 在国外的学生, 很多人的导师其实就是 个论文写作的修改者而已. 国内很多导师自己的英文都没过关. 这时也不能强求导师了, 只能 自己注意不断提高自己的英文水平了. 如何写好论文讨论部分 (请求斑竹加威!谢谢) 科学论文的讨论需要结构化 ;医学刊物的读者对论文的imrad结构（引言、方法、结果和讨论； introduction,methods ,results and discussion）1 相当稔熟，自觉或不自觉地都知道每部 分的作用。同样，读者也已熟悉结构式摘要，它所含的信息比非结构式摘要多 2，3。有些刊物 要求特殊论文使用特殊结构，如报告随机试验（randomised trials）的论文使用consort结 构 4。现在我们提议，科学论文的讨论部分也要结构化，因为它经常是论文最薄弱之处，仔细地 解释而成为喋喋不休。 老式论文往往缺少新的数据资料（可能包括病例报告） ，讨论却洋洋洒洒。讨论的作用似乎 是让读者相信，作者对数据的阐述及推测的正确。这不是对
