Unit 6 I like music that I can dance to. 第一课时Section A 1a-2cLearning Goals: In this lesson, the students will learn the new words “prefer, lyric, gentle”. The Ss can talk about their likes and dislikes about music and singers using the attributive clause with“that, which, who, whom”. The Ss can form the right and good attitudes about their favorite music or singers.Teaching and learning steps:Step I. Pre-listening activities(一). Revision1. Ask the Ss to read the new words of this unit and check the pronunciation.2. Translate the following Chinese phrases in words and expressions of Unit6.(1) 提醒,使记起 (2) 黄河 (3) 展览,陈列 (4) 老实说,说实在的 (5) 对有害 (6) 与保持距离 (7) 意见一致 (8)(很)合某人的意,对某人(很)合适 (设计说明:本环节目的是复习上节课学习的单词和短语,具有温故知新,承上启下的作用。)(二). Preview and presentationAsk the Ss to translate the following Chinese phrases into English. First ask the Ss to put them into English orally, then let them write English down without looking at the textbooks.(1) 跟着跳舞 _(2) 优美的歌词 _(3) 跟着一起唱 _(4) 太响 _(5) 演奏不同种类的音乐_(6) 写他们自己的音乐 _Ask the Ss to translate the following sentences.-你喜欢哪种音乐?-我喜欢我能跟着跳舞的音乐。_(设计说明:本部分词组和句子为学生的预习作业,词组和句子都是本节课的重要语言知识,该部分预习内容可以帮助学生更有目的性的预习。同时通过检测学生的预习效果,教师可以更有针对性地教,学生可以更有针对性的学。)Step .
