Reason for this issue is B600 of this PC product, reached on March 31st, 2002. For details concerning the B600 please refer to the minutes of CTCS V3.0 B600 meeting. 1.2History of Releases This is the first release of this Feature. 4540ba2c98e971fba4d44f4c36f22807.pdfPage 4 of 9 2 RELEASE INFORMATION 2.1Released Products and Versions CTCS V3.0 : This system is realized only for Shijiazhuang project. Necessary patches for this feature: None. 2.2Released Features This version of CTCS retains all the features of the earlier versions, but also add few new features. For a detailed overview of all features released within CTCS v3.0, please refer to the User Manual and the P-spec. In this release note, only the new features will be explained in detail. 2.2.1CTCS System Structure overview The CTCS system contains three main module: IP module SCP module Server module The three modules co-work with EWSD together to realize the Company/Campus Telephone Card function. The customers of Shijiazhuang require to cancel the language selection, but use Chinese as the prompt language directly. IP module is modified to realise this function. After installing the IP program, therell be a configuration file named Ipconfig.txt. There in it are lines like: CHINESE=TRUE; ENGLISH=FALSE; which means the prompt language is Chinese, and theres no more language selection while the uses dial into the system. This kind of modification gives the customers flexibility deciding either having the language selection function or not. If the customers find there comes again the need for English, just change the values of the two lines to both TRUE or both FALSE. Password modification for the first used new card: Since theres no necessary for the users to change the password when they use a new card, and maybe this causes inconvenience, IP module is modified to avoid this procedure. In Ipconfig.txt file, edit the line “ NEWPWDINPUT=FALSE;” the function can be realised. The Cardno generation is moved from Servers to Gateway, to reduce the Servers workload. After generation, the Cardno resource is transferred from Gateway to Server, to assure the data synchronisation between Gateway and Servers. The Bill Preservation function is also moved from Servers to Gateway. In Gateway, the local and toll bills can be grouped, ordered, enquired and printed. The prerequisite is that all the bills are transferred from Server to Gateway via DTS everyday at a defined time.
