大学英语教学大纲学 分：17.5学 时：280 先修课程：无 适用专业：化学工程系、材料科学与工程系、机械工程系、计算机科学与工程系、环境与安全工程系、信息科学系、应用技术学院各专业教 材：新视野大学英语（郑树棠主编， 外语教学与研究出版社,2002年）开课系部：外语系大学英语第一、第二、第三教研室撰 写 人：朱 铭审 定 人：刘丽芸 批准人：薛荣一、课程性质与目的大学英语教学是高等教育的一个有机组成部分，大学英语课程是大学生的一门必修的基础课。大学英语教学是以英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际为主要内容，以外语教学理论为指导并集多种教学模式和教学手段为一体的教学体系。大学英语教学目标是培养学生英语综合应用能力，特别是听说能力，使他们在今后工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流，同时增强其自主学习能力、提高综合文化素养，以适应我国经济发展和国际交流的需要。二、课程的基本内容及要求大学英语教学包括英语语言知识、应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际等方面的内容，不仅重视打好学生的语言基础，更要重视培养他们的英语听说能力，以及读写译与英语综合应用能力，贯彻分类指导、因材施教的原则，以适应立体化、网络化、个性化英语学习和实际需要。大学英语教学指基础阶段的英语学习，即一至二年级四个学期，具体要求如下：1听力理解能力：能听懂英语授课，能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座，能基本听懂慢速英语节目，语速为每分钟130词左右，能掌握其中心大意，抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。2口语表达能力：能在学习过程中用英语交流，并能就某一主题进行讨论，能就日常话题和英语国家的人士进行交谈，能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言，表达比较清楚，语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。3阅读理解能力：能基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章，阅读速度达到每分钟70词。在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时，阅读速度达到每分钟100词。能基本读懂国内英文报刊，掌握中心意思，理解主要事实和有关细节。能读懂工作、生活中常见的应用文体的材料。能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。4书面表达能力：能完成一般性写作任务，能描述个人经历、观感、情感和发生的事件等，能写常见的应用文，能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出120词的短文，内容基本完整，用词恰当，语意连贯。能掌握基本的写作技能。5翻译能力：能借助词典对题材熟悉的文章进行英汉互译，英汉译速为每小时300英语单词，汉英译速为每小时250个汉字。译文基本流畅，能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。6推荐词汇量：掌握的词汇量应达到4500个单词和700个词组（含中学应掌握的词汇），其中2000个单词为积极词汇，即要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用，包括口头和书面表达两个方面（见大学英语课程教学要求（试行）参考词汇表）。三、课程学时分配（一）新视野大学英语第一册学时分配章 节内容学 时1Unit 1 Section A: Learning a Foreign Language Section B: Keys to Successful Online Learning Section C: Teaching Children at Home62Unit 2Section A: A Busy Weekday Morning Section B: Parent Talk Section C: Teenage Talk63Unit 3Section A: A Good Heart to Lean On Section B: The Right Son at the Right Time Section C: Love of Life64Unit 4Section A: How to Make a Good Impression Section B: Body Language Section C: Gestures 65Unit 5Section A: The Battle Against AIDS Section B: The Last Dive at the Olympics Section C: International Joint Efforts Against AIDS 66Unit 6Section A: The Widow Section B: The Trashman Section C: My Moving Experience67Unit 7Section A: Face to Face with Guns Section B: Should I Have a Gun?
