I have to study for a test.难点:Grammar Focus How to make invitations, accept and decline invitations and reasons.教学过程Step I. Leading in 1. Warm up: A chant. I can, you can, and everybody can.Sing, dance, jump and run.He can, she can, and everybody can.Come, go, sit and stand.You can, they can, and everybody can.Cook, clean, and wash our pants.We can, you can, and everybody can. Play, laugh and have a lot of fun.2. Task: A free talk about: Can you / he / she they ? Step II. Pre-task1. New words and phrases: Show the new words and phrases on the screen to students. Ask a student to read, others follow him or her. 1a.Match the words with the pictures and check.2. Task 1) Speaking: Can you come to my party?Show some pictures and help students to answer: - Sure, Id love to.-Sorry, I cant. I have to Ask students to make conversations in pairs, then show. Task 2) Listening and speaking: 1b and 1c. Before listening .Ask students look at the picture and read the conversations in the picture. While listening. Students listen to the radio and write the names. After listening. Check the answers and ask students to read after the radio in 1b.Then ask students to work in groups to make conversations in 1c and act. Task 3) Writing: Write conversations after the model. Students do Exercise 1 in Basic Exercise. Check. Step III. While-task 1. A game Show some pictures and let students guess :-Can he / she/they come to my party? Why?Make sure students can use: He /She /They can /cant 2. Listening-task.Play the tape for three times. First, 2a: Listen and circle “can” or “cant ”. Second, 2b. Listen and number the reasons 13 why people cant go to the party.Third, ask students to close books and repeat the conversations. Step IV. Post-task 1. Writing-task.Ask students look at the reasons to say no to an invitation in 2b.Write some more.Change and Correct. 2. Speaking-task. Rules: Student A, invite your partner to do something. Student B, say you can Student C, make sentences like this. -He/She cant - He/She has to Step V. Summary:Ask one of the Ss what they have learnt.Step VI. HomeworkA.1. Read the conversations again. 2.Finish
