Five-finger Teaching Plan 五指教学方案Step 1 Review 第一步 复习(时间:10分钟)1. T: Yesterday we learned some great inventions. Do you remember what they are?Ss: Yes. They are digital camera, mobile phone, computer and MP3.T: Very good. Can you talk about them in pairs?Ss: Yes, we can.(组织学生对以上发明进行问答练习,既可以复习已学语言知识,也可以检查学生完成家庭作业的情况,同时又为导入新的目标语言打基础。学生主要回答如下内容。)S1: When was computer made?S2: It was made in 1946.S1: Where was it made?S2: It was made in America.S1: Whats it used for?S2: Its used for helping to work and study.T: Very good. Now, who would like to talk about the digital camera?(轮流谈论其他三项发明:数码相机,手机和MP3,然后将下列内容板书。) was made in 时间/地点is used for doing sth.2. T: There are many important technologies and inventions in the world today, such as the light bulb, the radio, the airplane, the car, the television, the telephone and so on. And we even have clone. What do you know about them? Ill ask some of you to fill in the chart on the blackboard.(由两个学生到黑板上填表完成收音机和飞机的发明家和发明的年代,也可统一检查学生的答案。)Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 巩固(时间:10分钟) T: Now, look at the chart on the blackboard and try to say something about the three inventions we learned.(引导学生用表格中提供的信息,讲述三项发明的情况,教师要鼓励学生使用本课的目标语言:被动语态的一般过去时。)S1: The light bulb was invented by Thomas Edison in 1879.S2: The radio was invented by Guglielmo Marconi in 1895.S3: The airplane was invented by Wilbur and Orville Wright. It was invented in 1903.T:Well done! Now, suppose youre Jane and Michael. Youre visiting the Science Museum. Talk about the three inventions as we learned just now.(让学生有时间准备好这个对话,提醒学生可利用黑板上表格中的关键词汇。然后要求学生表演自编对话。)Group 1: S4: Look, the light bulb.S5: Yes, it was invented by Thomas(至少要有三组学生表演该对话。)Step 4 Practice 第四步 练习 (时间:15分钟)1. T:Boys and girls, do you want to know more inventions? Would you like to talk about the telephone or the television?G2:Wed like to talk aboutT: At last, its your turn to talk about(为活跃班级气氛,可采用男女竞赛或小组竞赛的形式。)2. T: You did very well in your lessons today. And were going to learn something new about a great inventionclone. T: Good job! Now, lets listen to the tape carefully and make sure you can read it correctly.(播放录音。)T: Now, please close your books. Look at the words on the blackboard. Can you say something about “clone”?(让学生用3分钟时间做准备,然后用接龙的方式进行复述。教师可提前对克隆的知识进行讲解并利用黑板上列出的中心词进行提醒。)T:The cloned sheep.S1: Do you know Dolly, the cloned sheep?T: Yeah. Its well-known.S2: Cloning is known as a great experiment all over the world.T: Good! S3: She was created in Scotland a few years ago.T: Rabbits, sheep, cows, mice, pigs and some other animals.S4: So far, man has cloned rabbits, sheep, cows, mice, pigs and some other animals.T: Excellent!
