Why is she famous? 学生两人一组活动，补充和交流信息。Step 3Listen (Activity 2)在开展听力活动之前，教师可先引导学生学会通过who, where, what等引导的问题预测听力内容。Ask students to read the questions and choose the correct answers. Play the recording a second time if necessary.Step 4Listen and read (Activities 3, 4, 5) 本活动有两个目的：一是培养学生听录音获取细节信息的能力；二是在对话中呈现原因、结果状语从句等语言知识。学生在初次听录音时填写信息表是有一定困难的，所以要增设听力训练(详见素材四)。Activity 3: Before students read the passage, ask them to tell you three facts that they know about Deng Yaping.Write their ideas on the blackboard.Ask students to close their books.
