Unit 6 How long have you been collecting shells?,本单元谈论的主题Topic是Hobbies,其功能项目Functions是Talk about how long you have been doing things,目标语言Target language是要求学生了解现在完成进行时态,学会使用一般现在时态和现在进行时态的教学内容。通过对该单元的学习,学生不仅会学到许多词语及重点句子,同时还会让学生认识到只有通过辛勤的劳动,才能获得丰硕的成果。 其主要学习方法是Deducing(推理)和Cooperating(合作)。在本单元教学结束时我们所要达到的教学目标是让学生学会谈论一直坚持在做的事。 本单元设计的阅读短文是I have been studying history in China.泛读,了解西方学校学习历程,增强跨文化交际的能力。,一、教材分析,二、教学目标,三、教学重点,重点词汇及短语: (1)skating ; skate;stamp; shell;collect;a pair of ; raise ; collect ; foreigner; (2)run out of; be interested in; would like to do sth;a pair of ; more than;go skating; quite far from; enioy doing sth; (3)How long have you been collecting shells? How long have you been skating ? Ive been skating since nine oclock./for five hours. 教学重点: 现在完成进行时态的构成及应用 现在完成时与现在完成进行时的区别,四、教学难点,第一课时: Section A 1a 1b 1c 2a 2b 2c 第二课时: Section A 3a 3b 4 第三课时: Section B 1a 1b 2a 2b 2c 第四课时: Section B 3a 3b 4a 4b and self-check 1and 2 第五课时: Self-check reading,课时安排5/6课时,Section A 重点: How long has he been skating?以及回答。 难点: since和for的用法以及区别。 教学突破:由一般过去时态入手,对照书上P44的图片,先练习一般过去时。在过渡到现在完成进行时。强调两种时态之间用法的不同。并比较它们的基本结构。 教学步骤 一、情境导入 1How long did you sleep last night? 2When did you start class today? 3What did the boy in the picture do? 二、教学环节 1教师逐渐过渡到现在完成进行时的教学。利用图片来呈现生词和基本句型,领读生词和句型。 2领读1a中的对话,要求学生区分现在完成进行时和过去时的用法。 3播放录音两遍,引导学生1b听力训练,完成填空练习。 4朗读lc中的对话,再读学生进行对话操练。 5引导学生根据lc中的示范对话,进行自编对话,如谈论书籍等。请学生分组对话,说出他产自编的对话内容。 6播放2a的录音,要求学生将听到的问题打勾。 7播放2b的录音,要求学生将问题和回答配对。 8对照3a进行现在完成进行时的操练。 三、协作学习 1呈现3a中的图片,要求学生看图片并填出图片下的表格。 2引导学生操练3a中对话。 3要求学生用现在完成进行时进行有关学习时间和科目的对话练习。,Section B 重点: 让学生学会使用现在完成进行时来谈论收藏爱好。 教学突破 由学生的收藏品入手,谈论他们喜欢的话题,激发他们谈论此话题的兴趣,引入现在完成进行时句型,对此话题进行强化训练。 二、教学环节 1 由1a入手谈论孩子们自己的收藏。教授新单词和句型。 2 进行听力训练,完成2a和2b的练习。 3 进行有关3c句型的对话。 4 通过3a的学习过渡到写的训练上。 文化阅读 重点: 培养学生阅读过程中,用浏览的方式快速找到自己需要的信息。 教学突破:预读和讲解Section 1部分,作本文的阅读背景铺垫。然后,练习3a的题目,要求学生快速从文章中挑出答案,进行比赛,看谁最快。,(The Present Perfect Progressive Tense),现在完成进行时,表示动作从过去某一时间开始,一直延续到现在,可能还要延续下去。常和表示一段时间的状语连用。 They have been working for two hours. 他们已工作两小时了。 for和表示一段时间的词组连用 They have been running since six oclock. 从6点起他们一直在跑。 since 和表示过去某一时刻的词或词组连用 I have been waiting for you since I came here. 自到这儿以来我一直在等你。 since后可跟句子,句子时态多用一般过去时,4.全班汇总,选出做某事最长时间的人。,教学过程 Step1: Warm up Talking about some students hobby and its time in class Step2: Read and complete(3a .3b) 学生读短文内容并相互讨论图片上的内容,理解表格要求。教师放录音,学生跟读,找关键的信息填表格。全班核对答案,必要时讲解。 Step3. Groupwork Sa: Yelan, what sport do you play? Sb: Tennis. Sa: When did you start? Sb: When I was eleven. Sa: So how long have you been playing ? Sb: Three and a half years. 在四人小组中进行询问并做好记录,熟练句型、强化口语。教师抽查个别小组情况,让他们在班上做怀抱,学生平出最佳优胜者。(按口语流利、合作密切、无语法错误等。) Step4: learn by themselves (Section B 1a. 1b) 两人一组进行讨论,共同过程图片并模仿1b中的句子进行口语练习,把自己收藏或想收集的东西填在表格中。 Step5.Listen and complete(2a.2b) Step6.Make a survey and report 四人一组,互相询问各自的收藏并完成表格。选出本组最喜欢的或最有趣的收藏;请几位学生代表在班上做介绍。最后评出一种最有特色的收藏来。 Sa: What do you collect?
