職業英語培訓資助計劃 Funding Scheme for Workplace English Training,目的 Objective 資助僱主為其僱員託辦內部特設職業英語培訓課程,以參加指定國際商業英語考試,達致相關的 香港職業英語基準 To support the provision of in-house tailor-made workplace English training commissioned by employers for their employees to take specified international business English examinations for attaining the relevant HKWEBs,性質 Nature 資助額為課程及考試費用的百分之五十, 上限為每名合資格僱員最多可獲港幣3,000元 Funding is given to meet 50% of each employees English training cost and examination fees, subject to a maximum of $3,000 per person.,必須以公司名義提出申請 Application must be made by the company for its employee(s),申請資格 Eligibility of Applicants,A, R, U or *,申請資格 Eligibility of Applicants 僱員以前從未成功取得本計劃的資助 Employees who have not received any grant from the Funding Scheme 僱員未曾就同一課程及/或同一考試取得任何公帑資助 Employees who have not received any financial assistance for the same course and/or the same examination under any other publicly funded schemes,申請程序 Application Procedures 1. 選擇合適的培訓機構、擬定課程及參加的考試 Select a suitable course provider, design a tailor-made English training course and select examination(s) to be taken.,香港職業英語基準及指定的國際商業英語考試 Hong Kong Workplace English Benchmarks and Specified International Business English Examinations,申請程序 Application Procedures 2. 提交課程內容簡介作審批 Submit a course description for approval prior to application,課程簡介應包括申請公司的聯絡方法、課程及培訓機構的名稱、課程大綱、上課日期及課程費用等資料,申請程序 Application Procedures 3. 獲配課程批核編號後,於開課前提交申請表, 以申請 預留資助款項 Upon receipt of course approval code, submit application form before the commencement of the training course for application of earmarking of fund,申請程序 Application Procedures 4. 於僱員修畢課程及參加考試後,遞交證明文件 申請發放資助款項 Submit documents required for application of reimbursement of fund after course completion and taking exam,申請發放資助款項時限 Time Limit on the Application of Reimbursement of Fund,課 程 開 始 起 計 1 年 內,Within 1 year from the Commencement Date of the Training Course,例子 Example,2006年12月1日 至 12月30 日 修讀課程 Attend the course from 1.12.06 to 30.12.06,2007年 2月1日 參加考試 Take the exam(s) on 1.2.07,最遲於 2007年11月30日 遞交修畢證明 及考試結果 Submit the certificate and result slips not later than 30.11.07,資助款項計算方法 Calculation Methods of Funding 例子一 Example1 課程費用:每位 $2,000 考試費用:每位 $1,000 合共每位 $3,000 資助款項:每位 $1,500 Course Fee per employee : $2,000 Exam Fee per employee : $1,000 Total Fee per employee : $3,000 Amount of Funding per employee: $1,500,資助款項計算方法 Calculation Methods of Funding 例子二 Example 2 課程費用:每位 $7,000 考試費用:每位 $1,000 合共每位 $8,000 資助款項:每位 $3,000 (上限) Course Fee per employee : $7,000 Exam Fee per employee : $1,000 Total Fee per employee : $8,000 Amount of Funding per employee: $3,000 (Upper Limit), 有趣資料 (數字截至2006年10月底) Interesting facts (figures as at the end of October 2006): 成功申請人數: 近26,000人完成培訓課程及 達到相關工作類別的職業英語基準 Number of successful applicants: Approximately 26,000 working adults have attained their relevant benchmarks and received the training grants,資助金額: 超過4,500萬元 Disbursement figures: over $45 million of funds,以下資料只適用於成功申請資助的內部特設英語培訓 The following figures apply to the successful applications for reimbursement for in-house tailor-made English training only 平均每宗成功申請涉及的資助金額: 每位僱員$1,483 Average funding per successful application: $1,483 per employee,申請涉及的僱員數目 : 平均每宗申請 12人 最少 1 人; 最多 34 人(以單一申請計) Number of employees involved in the applications: Average 12 employees per application Min. 1 employee; Max. 34 employees for one application,常見問題 FAQ 我從何得知有哪些培訓機構可以為我們的員工提供 內部特設英語培訓課程?
