Teaching ProceduresStep 1. Greet the class and meet them.1. Meet the students by asking “Whats your name?” “Nice to meet you!” etc.2. Ask the students these questions: What do you often do on Sundays? Do you often help your parents to do chores? etc.Step 2. Revision and new words teaching1. Showing some pictures, revise some verb phrases the students learned last class.2. Ask the students these questions: What are they doing? How often do you do these things? (At the same time, explain some new verb phrases: do chores / do the laundry.)3. Play the game. Chain drills. Which group can ask and answer the most questions with different verb phrases?Step 3. Pair work (Activity 2c)Student A, you are Peter, ask if you can do things. Student B, you are Peters father. Say “Yes” or “No”. If you say “No”, give a reason.1. Point out the sample conversation. Divide the students into two groups, read the sentences in Grammar Focus loudly. Pay attention to each answer.Step 8. Homework1. Listen and read the words and conversations in Unit 11 (Section A)2.
