Lesson 11 What do you do?说课稿(科普版五年级下册)Good morning my dear judges. Its my great honor to interpret my lesson here. The lesson plan I am going to talk about is Primary English Book 6 Lesson 11 What do you do? Now, I will explain the lesson from the following aspects:Firstly, lets focus on the analysis of teaching content. The topic of this lesson is about jobs; such a topic is related to our daily life, so it is easy to arouse students learning interests. By studying this lesson, the students can ask and answer about jobs. They can think about their ideals, and must study hard to make their ideals come true.This lesson includes two parts. In section 1, it mainly deals with these key words: farmer, policeman, interesting. And in section 2, it deals with the sentences: What do you do? Where do you work? / Is your work interesting?Secondly, it is about the students.Our students are in Grade 5. They are curious, active and fond of game, competition, and various activities. After learning English for 3 years, they can understand some words and simple sentences, so the teacher should attach importance to the communication with them, providing them the chances of using language. Since they have learnt English for 3 years, and have already known “I am a” It is no difficult for them to understand and use the language “I like it very much.” If students can learn it well, it will help students to learn the rest of this lesson.So, I set the following aims:The first one is knowledge objective. By the end of this lesson, the students will be able to read, recognize and use these words: farmer, policeman, interesting, these sentences: What do you do? Where do you work? Is your work interesting?The second one is ability objective. By the end of this lesson, the students will understand the words and the sentences, and get useful information from this lesson through attentive listening and reading. By the end of this lesson, the students are able to talk about some jobs. The students abilities of listening and speaking will be developed.The third one is emotional objective. In this lesson, the emotional objective is able to talk about ideal jobs and study hard to make it come true, help the students cultivate and foster their ability of working in groups.Then Id like to say something about the main points.The main points of this lesson are to make sure the students can use key words and sentences. While the difficult points are to help the students ask and answer the questions: What do you do? Where do you work? / Is your work interesting? And help them to use the new knowledge correctly in real situation. Fourthly, it talks about teaching methods. As we all known, the main instructional aims of learning English in primary school is to cultivate pupils basic abilities of listening, speaking and their good sense of English language. So in this lesson, I will mainly use “Task-based teaching method”. That is to say, I will let the students in real situation to finish a task by making a survey to help the students to get a better understanding of the key structure of the dialogue. I will arrange these activities : guessing game, finishing a survey and having a competition. In order to finish the task, the “Cooperation learning” is asked. The students will take part in some activities like working in pairs, discussing in pairs, which can makes each student be relaxed. They neednt worry about making mistakes. It can arouse students to think and to say what they want to say. Study will become more relaxed and pleased in this kind of environment.Besides, a computer, blackboard, a tape recorder, cards are needed as the teaching aids.Next, it comes to the most important part; lets focus on the teaching procedures. I will finish the lesson in 5 steps.Step 1 warming upIt will cost about 5 minutes. At first, play the song “What do you do?” in activity 3 “Lets sing”. Then look at the pictures and review the learnt words “doctor, teacher”.Purpose: the purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the students, and at the same time, it provides situations to review the learnt knowledge.Step 2 presentationIt will cost about 15 minutes.At first, show some pictures with the help of PPT to learn the new words: “interesting, policeman”. Help the students to recognize the different jobs and their working place, to arouse the students learning interests of this lesson. While the teacher playing the tape, let the students to listen and understand.After presenting each new word, I will introduce the sentences “What do you do? Where do you work? / Is your work interesting?Finally, let the students close their books, play the tape again and then answer the questions “What do you do? Where do you work? / Is your work interesting?”Purpose: the purpose of this is to activate the students and help the students understand the language easily and naturally.Step 3 practiceIt will cost about 10 minutes.In order to make every student read these words correctly, i design a “drill” in this step. I show cards as soon as possible, students should read the words quickly and spell them. Then i ask “ What do you do?”, students answer “I am a.”. Also i will quicken the speed to ask. Besides, a “missing game” is designed here to help students to remember better.Purpose: to draw the whole students attention by the spelling of the words, and cultivate the interest of learning English by playing games.After this, i will give students a free space to show their abilities. I ask students to make a short conversation by using the words and sentences we have learnt in this class.Purpose: to help students to learn those sentences through a real situation.Step 4 consolidationLet stu
