教学资料参考范本九年级英语上册 MODULE 1 TEACHING PLAN教案 外研版撰写人:_时 间:_一、 题材内容本模块题材为世界奇迹 ,内容和情节都很符合这一年龄段学生的兴趣,语言简单易懂, , 非常有利于开展听、说、读、写方面的语言实践活动,让学生在讨论语言的过程中学习语言,促使学生更有意识地自觉学习英语。语法重点是复习所学过的现在进行时,过去进行时,一般现在时,一般过去式,一般将来时,现在完成时。通过操练,使学生在掌握语言结构的同时,既学习语言知识,感悟语言功能,又能增强学英语的自信心。本模块的Around the world栏目介绍了著名世界奇迹:Stonehenge。在阅读讨论的过程中, 复习所学过的现在进行时,过去进行时,一般现在时,一般过去式,一般将来时,现在完成时,鼓励学生多读多说多记。教学中教师应灵活利用各种素材组织教学过程和内容。充分调动学生的积极性。教学目标1) 语言知识:语音长句子的断句词汇ancient, club, pupil, meeting, call, event,waterfall, natural, light, beside, stranger, reply, rock, clear, rise rose-risen ,ground , below , edge , bottom , canyon ,top, disappear, distance , huge ,myself , likely , face, height, lift, view, attract, description, location, design词组listen up, get out of; look over, on the edge of, at the bottom of 语法复习所学过的现在进行时,过去进行时,一般现在时,一般过去式,一般将来时,现在完成时。功能描述景观。话题以“世界奇迹”为话题。2) 语言技能:听能听懂介绍景观的对话。理解主要事实性描述。说能运用表述事实和观点的形容词描述景观。读能读懂游记体裁的短文,获取有关事实性的信息,正确理解作者的观点和感受。写能描述看到的景观并进行简单评价。演示与表达 能向同学展示小坐完成的介绍景观的海报。3)学习策略学习一定程度形成自主学习,有效交际、信息处理、英语思维能力。认知联系,归纳,推测等技能。观察并归纳提建议的句子,提高自学能力。调控从同伴处得到反馈,对自己在叙述及作文中的错误进行修改交际学习运用恰当词语交流自己的学习计划。资源通过其他资源获取更多简单英语的“世界奇迹”。自学策略能够尝试学习英语的策略与方法。能注意发现语言现象背后的规律,并能运用规律举一反三。合作学习策略互相学习,取长补短,注意从他人的演示中汲取经验,注意学习策略共享. 4)文化意识:中外对比,加上对中国自然和人文景观的人士,了解世界上其他一泄国家的著名奇观。5)情感态度: 培养学生对神奇大自然的热爱,对伟大的人类文明的热爱。提高对英语的学习兴趣,提高学习英语的效率,实现语言结构与运用能力的全面转型,提高对英语的学习兴趣。参加各种英语活动,克服困难,在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。6)任务:能够运用所学句型结构写出自己的英语学习计划。教学重点和难点: 重点:通过训练学生的听、说、读、写能力,复习掌握所学过的现在进行时,过去进时,一般现在时,一般过去式,一般将来时,现在完成时。难点: 掌握所学的各种时态形式和找出适合自己的学习方法。教学方法:基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“PTP”自主学习立体模式:pre-tasktask-cyclepost-task。二、 教材处理核心任务:采用不同途径收集、整理相关资料,通过小组合作完成“一个世界奇观”的海报制作,并进行展示。三个环节如下:pre-task:学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,。task cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化讨论世界奇观,为完成任务做好铺垫post-task:达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况三、 教材安排根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,我们把本模块划分为4课时:Period 1: Vocabulary and Listening &Pronunciation and SpeakingPeriod 2: Reading and Vocabulary Period 3: Writing& Around the world &Module TaskPeriod 4: Language in use注:教学时应根据学生的学习水平、生活实际水平、接受程度及课堂出现的临时状况进行运用、调整及筛选。教学设计Title: Module 1 Wonders of the world Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary &Pronunciation and SpeakingTeaching Content: Listening and Vocabulary and Pronunciation and Speaking Teaching Aims and Demands:1. Language Knowledge Key vocabulary and phrases: call, eventKey structure: Sentence structure 2, Listening skill: To understand the topic words and the conversation. To know something about the pyramids and the Grand Canyon .难点) 3.Speaking skill: Talk about starting a school magazine. 4. Attitudes: Develop the interest to the wonders of the world.Learning strategies:Bottom up approach and listening to the tape and do some exercises.Teaching Aids: Multi-Media (Tape recorder, video, OHP, handout)Teaching Procedures:Part I: Revision Task: Recall what we have learned in the last Book. Directions: Step one: Label the pictures with the phrases.(1). Read through the phrases in the box and have the Ss. Repeat them after you. (2).Ask them to label them in the pictures on the screen. (3).Make some sentences with the phrases. Ask students to speak out as many as they can.Step two: Talk about your summer holiday. eg. What did you do in your summer holiday ?Did you get up at 7 ? Where have you been? How many books have you read? What was the name of the books? Which one do you like best? What English program did you listen to? Have you been to any places of interest? Was it interesting? Ask students to speak out as many as they can. Part II: Lead in: Task 1: Introduce to them the new words.Directions:Step one: Introduce the new words of this unit. And list them on the board.Step two: Read after the teacher.Step three: Practise reading the words.Step four: Ask the students to look at some pictures of places of interest . Elicit what they can see. If there are any new words, add them to the list on the board.Step five: Make some sentences using the new words from the whole class. Task 2: Talk about the picture as follows Directions:Step one. First make sure the Ss understand what they should do. Ss read the words first in Activity 1 on page 2. Step two: Explain that if they have difficulties. Step three: Let the S talk about the picture by themselves.Step four: Have the Ss. make some sentences. (e.g. Where is it?)Part III: ListeningTask 1 : Listen and understand conversations. Directions:Step one: Listen and check the words you hear in Activity 2 on page 2.Step two: Read through the answers and think of the questions. Make sure the Ss understand them all.Step three: Play the recording and have them choose the best answers in Activity 4, then check with a partner.Step four: Then call back the answer from the whole class.Step five: Play the recording again for the Ss to check their answers .Task 2 : To understand conversations .Directions:Step one: Ask the Ss to listen to the passage and answer some questions . Step two: Play the recording again and have them check.Step three: Have the Ss answer the questions individually, and then check their answer with a partner. E.g.Who is Becky Wang?Step four: Call back the answer from the whole class.Task 3 : Listen and read: Directions:Step one: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to listen and read the conversation.Step two: Play the recording again and pause after each phrase, asking the Ss. to repeat chorally and individually.Step three: Put the Ss. into groups of 4 to practise the dialogue. Step four: They should repeat it several times, changing the roles each time.4 .Task: Explain the important and difficult points Explain the important and difficult points 1 Thats news to me! 我一点儿都不知道! Thats/Its news to me. (口语)表示“没听说过的事”.如: Theres no class tomorrow? Thats news to me! 明天不上课?我一点儿都不知道! I hear you and Paul are going to Paris for the weekend.我听说你和保罗要去巴黎度周末. Really ?Thats news to me. 是吗?我怎么不知道! 2 Well write a diary of school events, and tell everyone about the school concert and the dance club.我们要记录下学校每天发生的事,还要告诉大家学校音乐会以及舞蹈俱乐部的事情.diary 意思是、“记事簿,日记簿”.如: According to my diary, Ive got two meetings on Monday.根据我在记事簿上的记录,周一我要开两个会.3 Ill do some reviews about our favourite bands and movies!我要就我们喜爱的乐队的电影写一些评论. And Ill do an interview with Becky Wang! 我要采访贝基.王! do some reviews 表示“对.做评论”;do an interview表示“采访.”.其中,do.可以和许多名词搭配,组成不同的词组.同学们在平时的学习中要学会积累这些词组.再如: I should do more exercise.我应该多锻炼. Hes on honest; we like to do business with him.他是一个诚实的人,我们愿意与他做生意.Part IV: Pronunciation Task: Listen and repeat in Activity 6 Directions:Step one: Play the recording and ask the Ss. to listen and repeat the sentences in Activity 6.Step two: Ask the Ss to listen and practise the sentences in activity 6.Step three: Say the sentences aloud.Part V: speakingTask: Act out a conversation about your own school magazine. Directions:Step one: Ask the Ss to Work in pairs. Make a list of articles for your own school magazine, eliciting different articles from different Ss. E.g.“Film Review” “Football Match Report”Step two: Ask the Ss to work in groups of three or four and act out a conversation about your own school magazine. Use your list and the conversation in Activity 3 for help.Step three: Circulate and monitor production, paying special attention to the use of the sentence structure. Part VI: A test Finish the exercises in the workbook Ex. 1 &4Part VI: Homework Recite the short passage as fluently as possible.Period 2 Reading and Vocabulary Teaching Content: Reading and Vocabulary Teaching Aims and Demands:1. Elicit some answers from the Ss, and note them on the board.(2). Pair the Ss to discuss talk about wonders of the world.(3). Work in pairs. Elicit conversations from the class. Accept anything they give.Part III: Scanning and Skimming1.Task: Read the passage and find out the answers to these questions . Directions:Step one: The teacher gives the students the questions. Ask the Ss to read the passage first and then find out the answers to these questions.1) When did the writer arrive at the Grand Canyon area?2) Were there many people when the writer visited the Grand Canyon?Step two: Ss read the passage and find the Questions.Step three: Call back the answers from the whole class, having individuals read out the answers2. Task: Read the passage and choose the best answer in activity3. Directions:Step one: First make sure the Ss understand what they should do. Improve the students writing ability (难点).2. To learn about wonders of the world.3. To consolidate the tenses we have learned. (重点)4. Part II: WritingTask 1: Make a table with facts about: the Changjiang River and the Great WallDirectionsStep One: Make sure that the Ss. understand them.Step two: Ask the Ss to make a list of facts about: the Changjiang River and the Great Wall in English individually.Step three: Then exchange books for a peer check for language accuracy.Step four: Read them loudly.Task 2: Imagine you have seen one of the wonders of the world. Write sentences describing how you felt when you saw it for the first time. DirectionsStep One: Ask the Ss to Write sentences. 1) Say when you saw it. eg.It was two years ago when I first saw the Great Wall 2)Describe its size. eg.Its about 6,700 kilometers long.3)Say what happened. eg.It was in autumn and we were walking4)Say how you felt. eg.It was the most wonderful sight I have ever seen.Step two: Then exchange books for a peer check for language accuracy.Step three: Call back a few examples from the whole class.Step four: Then let the Ss give advice to some of the letters.Step five: Then summarize.Part III: Around the worldTask: Learn something about Stonehenge.DirectionsStep One: Ask the Ss. to look at the different pictures about Stonehenge Tell the Ss. some knowledge of Stonehenge.Step two: Read the text and answer any questions the Ss have.Part IV: Module Task Task: Making a poster about a wonder of the world.Directions: 1. Work in groups of four.2. Decide on the wonder of the world youd like to write about. You can write about one of the wonders in this module or research other wonders in the world.3. Find out as much information as you can in books or on websites.4. Design your poster, and plan how to present the information and pictures.5. Write the text of your poster. Use Unit 2 to help you. 6. Present you poster to the class.Note: Let the Ss look at it when they have a spare moment. Part V: RecallingRecall what we have learned today.Part VII: A testDo Ex.12 on page 115 and hand in immediately.Part VIII: Homework: Do the Self-assessment on page 115. Periods 4.
