Its warm today 教学设计教材分析:本课是PEP下册第4单元的Lets learn 部分。学情分析:四年级的学生已经有了一定的英语基础,会用英语进行简单的交流,也具有一定的语言应用能力。教学理念:新课标倡导以学生为主体,让学生成为学习的主人,在课堂上实行师生、生生互动的教学活动,教师将学生引入课堂,将课堂还给学生,学生通过歌曲、游戏、TPR和多媒体等教学手段激发学生的兴趣,通过表演和同学之间的合作交流培养学生的自信心。教学目标:(1)语言知识 通过创设情景和多种教学手段,使学生认识天气在现实中的重要性,并且能掌握单词及句型。(2)语言技能能听懂天气预报内容,根据提示会自己做天气预报。(3)情感态度学生能在愉快的环境中学习英语,渗透常识教育。教学重点:掌握描写天气的4会单词cold, warm, cool, 3会单词hot, weather及句子 Itsin教学难点:会自己做天气预报,唱自编歌谣,歌曲教学准备:多媒体课件,单词卡片,图片,方向盘教学过程:Step1 Warm up1. GreetingHello, boys and girls.How are you?2. Sing a songHow is the weather? 设计意图:用歌曲活跃课堂气氛,为学习新课做好铺垫。Step 2 Lead in1. Free talking Im happy today. I would like to go travelling. But where can I go? Yes, maybe I can go to these beautiful places. (CAI shows the beautiful pictures of the places.) This is Hong Kong / Beijing / Lhasa / Harbin. Is it beautiful?2. Weather report:I really want to go to these places. But I dont know the weather. So lets listen to a weather report. But before this, I will divide you into Hong Kong / Beijing / Lhasa / Harbin team. You should remember the weather in Hong Kong / Beijing / Lhasa /or Harbin .设计意图:谈话质疑,师想去旅游,让学生欣赏美丽的画面,但是不知道天气,所以带着问题学习下面的内容。把全班分成四小组,分别代表不同的城市。Step 3 Input 1. Learn the new words and sentence structure(1)hot :Watch a flash, and remember the weatherAsk Hong Kong team, Hows the weather? ( hot )Learn the word : hotPractice one by one and praise some good ones.A. Sentence practice: Its hot in Hong Kong.(2) cold: Harbin team, is it hot in Harbin? Its -. Listen to Mr. weather.A. Sentence practice: Its cold in Harbin.(3) cool: Lhasa team, how is the weather in Lhasa? Listen to Mr. weather.A. Read together and do the action at the same time, cool, cool , cool, cool ,cool, cool.(4) warm: Beijing team, is it hot /cold in Beijing? Is it warm in Beijing? Listen to Mr. weather.(5)Revision : Today we learn -. Theyre all about weather. Weather, weather. Weather report. Can you do a weather report like me? Try!(Do the action) weather report2. Learn a chantwarm day, warm day ,go to hikehot day, hot day, eat ice creamcool day, cool day, fly kitescold day, cold day, snow in the sky(Do the actions at the some times)设计意图:通过看动画听天气预报员介绍,学习新单词,并且插入不同的小游戏巩固操练单词句型。最后自编歌谣并且伴上动作,让学生在朗朗上口的歌谣中掌握单词。Step 4 Practice1. Game 1: Were tired. Its time for fun. Lets play a game, OK?There are some cards on your desks. When you hear “Its hot in Sanya”, you should show me “hot” and “Sanya”, OK? Praise the fastest group and say the sentence loudly.2. Game 2: Guess, guess, guessThe teacher has a steering wheel guess the guidelines where will stop” Guess, is it hot / cold / hot / warm” 3. Im a report. The students use their pictures to make a report.4.Today we learn “ unit 4 Its warm today”-Remember , the weather keeps changing a lot in our city these days. So when its cold, you should wear a coat and do not catch a cold.设计意图:应用各种游戏操练单词,句子,增加学生学习的兴趣,培养学生竞争的意识,并且给学生渗透常识教育。Step 5 Output1. To summarize what we have learned today.2. Sing a song to review.
