We must thank everybody. Lets say thank you .Step 2 Presentation:1.引入Thanksgiving进行教学,操练单词ThanksgivingT: Do you know there is an American festival in November. The people have turkey on that day. What is it? 在美国有一个节日,人们都要吃火鸡,是什么节?S: ()T: Right. Its Thanksgiving. (利用拍手操练单词Thanksgiving)T: Its an American festival. Read it together.T: There is an American festival. T: 今天我们就在这里一起过感恩节。If you do well, you will be invited here to enjoy the food. (把句子贴到黑板上,然后走到餐桌边,端起火鸡教学turkey,介绍火鸡与土耳其)T: Mm. Turkey. It smells delicious.T: (拿起单词卡片,帮助学生找发音规律,学会自读单词) T-U-R, tur, K-E-Y, key.(升降调操练单词)T: Look at the screen. Whats difference between the two words?T: This word begins with small letter “t”, it means “火鸡”T: This one begins with big letter “T”, it means “土耳其”(引导学生说出火鸡和土耳其)T: Do you know why? 原来英国人到美洲去,看到火鸡很像土耳其人的服装,头红身黑,所以把火鸡叫turkey,就像China一样,有两个意思,大写代表我们的祖国中国,小写代表瓷器。T: Its interesting.(依次教学corn, yams, pumpkin pie,复习fruit和vegetable)T: What else do we have for Thanksgiving? (学生说什么教什么)T: We have corns. Follow me , corn , corn . (利用手势15进行操练)T: We have yams. (利用大小声操练)(利用左右手操练corn和yams)T: Now recite the words as quickly as you can . Read it together. (让学生弄懂问题意思)T: Answer the questions. (男女生问答)2.听录音跟读T: Now, listen and repeat.Step 4 Have a big dinner1.邀请学生到餐桌用餐,讲解西方用餐礼仪(邀请问题回答较好的学生坐到餐桌旁边就餐)T: 瞧,他们的姿势符合西方用餐礼仪吗?说说看。T: 西方人是非常讲究他们的行为习惯的,两腿不能交叉,还要从椅子的左边入坐,不能穿休闲服入席。对了,按时很重要哦。T: Now, lets enjoy our food.
