Ask the students to response quickly. 2. Presentation.The teacher shows the icon of Confucius. And then ask the students “Who was he?”Help the students to answer “He was Confucius.”3.ask the students Listen to the tape and read the story and then ask them the two questions as follow.Who was he?Where did he live?4.check the answer and then teaching the story.Pay attention to these words Live-lived, teach-taught, write-wrote.Step 3: Practice and Consolidation1.listen the story again, and then.read after the tape.
