Read and reinforce the understanding of the dialogue.2. Sentence pattern: a.N+V+A. b.N+has+N. c.N+V+wearing.3. Learn to use the three structures above for describing peoples appearance.4. To help the pupils use adjectives.Material needed:Kingsun Software, a powerpoint software, some pictures tape and tape recorder, etc.Teaching Procedures: Step one: warming-up1. Listen and learn the rhyme(P18).Then chant and act out it.This is mother Step two: pre-task1. Watch Kingsun again.2. Try their best to recite the dialogue.(some missing words)3. Ask two pupils to act out the dialogue. Step three: while-task 1.To describe the appearance of Mike and Jean. Which is Mike? What does he look like 2. Sentence pattern:a.N+V+A. eg. The man is very heavy. Then show some pictures and ask the pupils.3. Sentence pattern: b.N+has+N. eg. The girl has big eyes. Then show some pictures and ask the pupils.4. Sentence pattern: c.N+V+wearing. eg: The man is wearing a cap. Then show some pictures and ask the pupils.5.Finish work with language.(Kingsun) Do it one by one. Presentation: 1 Ss look at some pictures and guess what do they also do everyday? ” And present new words and phrases: clean, wash , finish , help, clean the room , wash trousers , finish homework, help my mumPlay a game to read all the words and phrases.2 T does some actions and asks Ss to guess : what did I do yesterday? And T should read loudly on the words “ed” so as to attract Sss attention.3 T writes down some phrases on the blackboard into two lines, one line is simple present tense and the other is simple past tense, and then asks Ss to find out the difference between the two lines of phrases, and T presents the rules of simple past tense to the Ss.4 T asks Ss to write down the past tense of some words , in order to check whether Ss know the rules.5 Free talk: T asks Ss to discuss with classmates, and tell them : what did I do yesterday to practice the simple past tense and sentence pattern: Yesterday , I C Homework1
