摘要 s p e r b e r 与w i l s o n ( 1 9 8 6 1 9 9 5 ) 从认知角度出发，提出了颇有影响的关联理 沧。根据该理论，交际涉及说话人与听话人对信息的处理，说话人通过明示交际 行为让听话人获取某种信息；话语理解涉及语言解码与推理过程，前者指语言 结构的逻辑形式，即语义原型( b l u ep r i n to fm e a n i n g ) ，后者指逻辑形式转换成话 语命题之后推导出的隐含意义，即说话人意义( s p e a k e rm e a n i n g ) ；话语理解从听 话人识别句子的编码意义开始，然后听话人以最少的努力在明说的层面上对这 个句子意义进行语用充实，在暗含的层面上对它加以补足，最后使理解符合听 话人所期待的关联为止。关联理论的新进展指出，话语的理解涉及到讲话人临 时构建的、有特别修辞用途的概念。s p e r 由字面原义与语境信息的复合所衍生的新的、临时意义。本文认为，比喻性语 言的理解过程与理解刻意言谈的过程并无两样，并以此为出发点研究了这一概 念应用到比喻性语言理解的可行性以及在翻译中如何处理暗含意义的问题。本 文由五章组成，主要内容如下：第一章简要介绍几种有影响的比喻理论，比喻 的含义与目的，并提出本文的研究目的。第_ 二章主要介绍关联理论的主要内容。
