从符号学角度看跨文化交际摘要随着世界的发展，跨文化交际研究扮演着日益重要的角色，因为成功的跨文化交际对人类的生存和发展起着关键作用。目前跨文化交际的研究已进入跨学科发展阶段，其中最为显著的一个特征是不少学者开始从符号学角度研究跨文化交际。符号学是当代西方人文科学前沿理论之一，其影响遍及人文社会科学各领域。事实上，符号学与跨文化交际学紧密相关，二者都旨在讨论意义产生、传达和解释的过程。本文运用索绪尔的符号学理论探讨跨文化交际的特征、过程、障碍及交际能力的提高。跨文化交际的本质是符号传递的过程，符号性是交际最显著的特征。我们利用符号把握世界并与他人交流，符号是跨文化交际的先决条件。通过符号学理论，本文建立了体现跨文化交际过程的模式。该模式包含了跨文化交际过程的所有主要因素：语境、信息发出者、代码1 、编码、能指、信息接收者、代码2 、解码和所指。作者进一步分析了能指和所指在跨文化交际中的三种非对应情况：能指在某种文化中的缺省；同一能指在不同文化中有不同的所指；不同文化的不同能指有同一所指。在过程模式的基础上，作者运用了七个实例分别从语境、代码、能指和所指等四个角度探讨跨文化交际失误产生的原因，并对跨文化交际能力的培养提出几点建议。本文研究有助于人们对跨文化交际形成一个系统的认识，并最终提高跨文化交际能力。关键词：符号学；跨文化交际；能指；所指iu
