太原理工大学硕士研究生学位论文 大学课本英语的文体分析 摘要 本文主要分析了出现于大学英语课本中的英语的文体特色。研究的对象比较特殊， 表现为不再是通常的文体点，而是一个由很多紧密联系的点按照一定顺序组成的文体连 续体。研究对象的这种特殊性使得传统的文体研究方法无法在本次研究中得以应用，为 此，笔者尝试了一种新的方法，即在这一连续体中选出一个具有代表性的点，对这个文 体点进行文体分析，进而推断出整个连续体的文体特征。笔者选中的这个点为外语教学 与研究出版社出版的高级英语，之所以做这样的选择，主要基于以下两点考虑：第 一，作为大学课本英语的最高级形式，高级英语的文体分析结果必定包含大学课本 英语可能具有的文体特征的所有最终表现形式，所以选择高级英语可以最大可能地 保证研究的全面性；第二，高级英语分为上下两册，它本身也不完全是一个纯粹的 文体点，而是一个小规模的连续体文体，这种特殊性使得笔者可以在进行最终推断工作 之前先进行小规模推断，从而将可能出现在最终推断过程中的误差减少到最小。事实上， 研究成果的可靠性是贯穿全文的宗旨。笔者不仅运用语言学理论和几何学理论进行了分 析，还做了大量的数据统计研究工作。除此之外，在分析高级英语过程中，笔者还 打破了原有的语音、词汇、语意、句法、语境的研究顺序，而是在对课后练习的设计 进行分析统计后按照这五个方面在课本中的突出程度重新对他们进行了排序，在从高 级英语到大学课本英语进行过渡时，又依靠对前者一、二两册课后练习的对比分析结 果再次对研究角度进行了重新整理，这些都是为了减少研究的主观性，增强分析的可靠 性。总之，本研究结果力求科学可信，它不仅对大学英语教，学和课本编写有参考价值， 对类似的其他连续体文体研究也有借鉴意义。 关键词：文体分析，高级英语，大学课本英语
