摘要 戏剧作为一种重要的文体，具有其鲜明的文体特征。它历来是文学评论家眼中的宠儿， 但是却很少受到过语言学家和文体学家的亲睐，一直被视为“遗忘的孩子。”自上个世纪 七八十年代以来，一些国内外的语言研究者开始将视角转入到戏剧文体上来。近些年来， 随着英语文体学研究的蓬勃发展，虽然有不少文体学家对戏剧文体产生了浓厚的兴趣，但 是从话语文体学的角度去探究戏剧文体的研究仍然是少之又少。 本文在借鉴国内外文体学家的一些相关研究的基础上，拟从话语文体学的角度对诺贝 尔文学奖得主哈罗品特的戏剧回家进行文体特征的分析。本文主要运用话语分析理 论和分析方法对该戏剧中的对话进行文体分析。另外，语用学中的言语行为理论及合作原 则也为本研究提供了重要的理论依据和分析工具。戏剧文体最突出的特点就表现在对话 上，而戏剧对话与日常会话的许多内在联系使会话分析方法运用到现代戏剧对话分析成为 可能，而戏剧中对话人之间微妙、复杂的人际关系也使得语用学理论成为重要的理论支柱。 基于上述理论，本研究系统地分析了回家这部作品的话语文体特征，揭示了品特戏剧 中独有的文体特点，并且也为文学欣赏提供了一种新的途径，有助于戏剧主题的阐释。 会话分析表明，话轮数、话轮长度、话轮分布以及停顿等各方面都可以不同程度地揭 示出戏剧中对话双方的性格特征以及双方之间微妙的人际关系。在交谈中，话语最多，话 轮长度最长的人未必占上风。而根据言语行为理论和合作原则，我们发现，戏剧中说话人 为了表明真实的意图，往往会遵循言语行为原则，而经常违反合作原则。对于这些原则的 违背同样可以透露出戏剧中对话双方之间的关系和各自的态度、看法。 除此以外，由于戏剧对话与日常会话的相似之处，本研究成果对英语教学具有启发作 用。话轮数、话轮长度、话轮转换和毗邻对等理论及其应用有助于广大英语学习者更好地
