自主学习视野下的大学英语口语教学研究 摘要 本研究理论结合实践，在思辨性研究与实证性研究相结合的基础上，重点分 析了建立在调查、实验数据基础上的一种能够有效指导主题口语教学自主学习模 式。本研究采用定性与定量相结合的方法，通过问卷调查方式向合肥工业大学非 英语专业学生进行采访从而收集数据。此外，作者也在自己任教的班级进行面对 面的采访，以第一手的资料进行分析。 本论文共分五章。第一章简要介绍了自主学习理论和大学英语口语教学。第 二章是论文的主要部分。探讨了自主学习与大学英语口语教学的关系以及如何创 建大学英语口语主题教学自主学习模式。该模式将有意义的课堂教学与学生自主 学习融为一体，使学生从“要我说”的被动填充型转变到“我要说”的主动求知 创新型中来。第三章讨论研究的方法，存在的问题，集中讨论了调研的方法和程 序。第四章，主要进行数据分析以及该模式的应用效果。结果表明该模式提高了 学生的口语能力，对于当今大学英语口语教学存在着一些问题，在分析上述问题 成因的基础上，提出提高学习者自主以及学习者自主模式中教师的角色定位是该 模式成功的前提。此外，作者认为在跨文化交际中要妥善处理准确和流利、正确 性与适宜性的关系。最后，交际策略的培养也是比不可少的。第五章是对全文的 总结，提出了本研究的一些缺陷，以及今后研究的建议。 口语能力是语言综合应用能力中不可缺少的部分，也是语言习得中输出的一 个重要环节。新的大学英语课程教学要求( 试行) ( 教育部高教司2 0 0 4 ) 明 确指出，大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力，特别是听说能力， 增强其自主学习能力和提高其综合文化水平。但是，现行教学中普遍存在教学班 级规模偏大、口语课时偏少、练习量少和教学针对性不强等问题，英语口语教学 一直是我们教学的弱向。因此，扭转口语教学困难局面，从而有效地提高学生的 口语能力是目前大学英语教学改革的重点之一。根据学习者自主的定义和内涵， 外语学习应由学习者自己负责管理。自主学习是一个教与学融为一体的概念。本 论文以自主学习理论为指导，探讨如何通过培养学习者英语学习的自主性来提高 教学质量，认为英语口语教学就是围绕主题而开展的教师与学生，学生与学生， 任务与资源之间的多维互动。其目的是想在大学英语课程改革的背景下，围绕自 主学习的自主性、责任性、发展性和合作性，遵循英语口语课堂教学的规律，以 发展和动态的视角，研究适合工科大学生提高口语能力的教学机制。 本论文在清楚阐述英语口语习得规律的理论前提下，通过问卷调查和分析， 对大学英语口语教学进行了分析与阐释，认为通过改革传统教学模式，使英语口 语教学朝着个性化学习，不受时间和地点限制的学习一自主式学习方向发展，对 于提高学生的口语水平起着重要的作用。就学生来说，自主学习是一种发展导向 型的高质量的学习方式，通过培养学习者的自主学习意识促进学习者自主：鼓励 学生创新、逐步培养学生自主学习的自信心、尊重学生个体差异、激发学习者内 在学习动机；就教师而言，自主学习是一种以学生为中心的现代化的教学模式， 包括所有提倡和促进自主学习的教学策略、教学方法和教学环境：使学生对教学 内容产生浓厚兴趣、教学方法应从注重“教”向强调“学”转变、创造融真实性、 交际性、知识性、趣味性于体的语言环境；就学习者提高能力而言，自主学习 不仅教学生“学会”，而且要“会学”，既要“授之以鱼”，更要“授之以渔”。 关键词：自主学习：主题教学；口语能力；大学英语口语教学 s t u d yo fo r a le n g l i s ht e a c h i n g f r o mt h ep e r s p e c t i v eo fs e l f -
