摘要 随着我国改革开放的不断深入，我国与世界各国之间的经贸、文化、教育交 往越来越频繁。口译作为沟通的桥梁，在跨文化交际中起着重要作用，同时，口 译之独特的工作及研究特点吸引了不少翻译学者乃至社会大众的注意，各种形式 的口译也应运而生。而口译中的国际会议口译，由于其对译者的即时性和灵活性 都要求极高，所以更是为广大学者和英语爱好者所向往和钦佩。然而，人们对于 口译的运作过程和处理方式的了解却很少，甚至还存在认识误区，学术方面关于 口译的全方位系统化的研究也甚少。怀着对会议口译的强烈兴趣和对口译事业的 向往，作者参阅了大量相关资料，并尝试着对会议口译，尤其是高层政府会议口 译，做一个较为全面的介绍和分析。 本文以会议口译体系为模式，以d a n i c as e l e s k o v i t c h 提出的释意理论( t h e o r y o fs e n s e ) 和d a n i e lg i l e 提出的认知负荷模型( t h ee f f o r t sm o d e l & t i g h t r o p e h y p o t h e s i s ) 为理论基础，以近年国际会议i = 1 译材料为研究对象，对会议口译过 程及译语输出进行了分析，此外还重点探讨了会议口译中译员的主动性与灵活 度。本文的研究目的在于试图从不同场合、不同对象和文化背景几方面探讨会议 口译中译员如何恰当地把握好主动性与灵活度的问题，同时将口译理论在会议口 译中的运用充分体现出来并对其加以分析，从而对会议口译理论有更深入的认 识，并揭开覆在会议口译这一行上的神秘面纱，抓住其翻译要领，使读者对会议 口译的核心和操作有更深了解。 关键词：会议口译，释意理论，口译原则，口译译者，主动性，灵活度 a b s t r a c t a l o n gw i t ht h ed e e p e n i n go fr e f o r ma n do p e n i n gu p ，t h ee x c h a n g eo fe c o n o m y ， t r a d e ，c u l t u r ea n de d u c a t i o nb e t w e e nc h i n aa n dt h ew o r l da r em o r ea n dm o r ef r e q u e n t i n t e r p r e t i n gs e l v e sar o l ea sab r i d g ei nc r o s s -
