摘要 认知视角下英汉爱情隐喻的对比研究 摘要 内容摘要：传统意义上的隐喻是一种词语层次上的修辞方式，但是仅仅把隐喻作 为修辞手段或语言现象来研究是不够的。随着现代科学和人类认知学科的发展， 隐喻的作用开始获得了新的认识，隐喻成为众多学科关注的热门话题。认知语言 学认为隐喻是语言和思维中普遍存在的一种现象，是人类思维的重要手段和认知 的基础。隐喻的本质就是通过一类事物来理解和经历另一类事物。我们每时每刻 的思维和认知活动都离不开隐喻，它为我们提供理解自然世界的途径，使我们的 经验概念化。语言使用中的隐喻是隐喻性思维的外在表现，而文化背景知识则是 隐喻的语言环境，是隐喻概念形成的源泉。 隐喻使我们能够用具体的、熟悉的概念去理解抽象的、复杂的概念。情感 是人类最重要的人生体验，而爱情又是一切情感中最久远、最神秘的情感。在人 类各种情感体验中，爱情具有特殊的地位和重要性。爱情并不是难以表达的，而 是蕴含着丰富的概念内容，人们通过各种各样的方式来表达爱情、歌颂爱情。基 于以上因素，本文以“爱情 概念隐喻作为研究课题，通过对英汉歌曲中的“爱 情”概念隐喻进行对比研究，揭示东西方爱情概念系统的异同。研究发现，爱情 这一抽象的概念可以通过具体的概念获得理解。在英汉语中两民族对于同一概念 的理解运用了一些相同的隐喻，但同时也使用了不同的隐喻。这一发现进一步验 证了隐喻既有普遍性又有差异性的观点。英汉两民族都通过旅途、战争、心等概 念系统来理解爱情。这些相似点反映了英汉爱情隐喻源于相同的情感体验，具有 共同的生理和心理基础。然而不同点也是存在的，英文中有“爱是交易”、“爱人 是可口的食物 等爱情隐喻，而中文中则有“爱是姻缘 、“爱情是丝等独特的 爱情隐喻。这些不同点反映了文化在建构隐喻概念时起了重要的作用，英汉两民 族在生活环境和宗教等方面的差异造就了英汉爱情隐喻的不同。 隐喻是无处不在的，它对人类理解抽象事物和客观世界都发挥着重要的作 用。本文通过大量的英汉对比，为现代隐喻理论提供了一些证据，同时为隐喻研 究提供了更广泛的跨文化视角。作者希望该文章对深入了解隐喻与文化，隐喻与 思维的关系，以及有效的跨文化交际起到一定作用。
