摘要 阅读是语言学习中重要的一环，同时也是其重要的产物。阅读是第二语言 学习的主要目的，同时也是最重要的能力。( 卡尔1 9 8 9 ) 阅读是二语习得的重 要一部分，而阅读策略又在英语学习中至关重要。近年来，一些心理语言学家 和认知语言学家积极，i ：展对阅读策略的研究。但是，这些研究都有其局限性， 例如：研究样本的数量过少。本论文力求在这些方面有所改进。 本论文以学生的阅读成绩为着眼点，研究非英语专业大学生的英语阅读策 略使用情况。将两次阅读的分数作为衡量学生阅读水平的尺度，一次阅读测试 选用大学英语四级考试( 1 9 9 7 年6 月) 的阅读理解题，题型全部是选择题；另 一次测试也选用大学英语四级考试( 2 0 0 8 年6 月) 的阅读题，其题型包括判断 对错题，选择题和简短回答三种。将每位学生的两次阅读测试成绩的平均分作 为实验数据，以此来表明学生的阅读能力。 本文针对大学生使用阅读策略的情况以及阅读策略的使用与学生阅读能力 的关系展丌研究。研究主要围绕以下问题展开： ( 1 ) 大学生经常使用哪些阅读策略? ( 2 ) 阅读策略的使用与学生阅读成绩之问存在何种关系? ( 3 ) 阅读能力强与弱的学生在哪些阅读策略的使用上的差异明显? 本调查对象为天津城市建设学院非英语专业2 0 7 名大二本科生。作者通过 一项问卷调查和两次英语阅读测试来进行数据的收集和分析，进行定量研究。 本文采用了三种统计学方法：描述性分析，相关性分析和独立样本t 检验来分 析收集来的数据。作为定量研究的补充，本研究采用了面对面的访谈，访谈的 结果经过分类归纳后作为定性分析。 研究结果显示： ( 1 ) 我国普通高校的大学生能够适度使用英语阅读策略。 ( 2 ) 阅读策略的使用与学生的阅读成绩显著相关。 ( 3 ) 阅读能力不同的学生在阅读策略的使用方面存在显著差异。 ( 4 ) 认知策略和元认知策略都对阅读理解有重要影响。 本研究的意义有如下三个方面： ( 1 ) 为普通高校大学生英语阅读策略的进一步研究提供有意义的指导。 ( 2 )
