19 0 7 年间的一 部成套故事小说。其创作目的正如作者所言，是“揭示城市特有的精神瘫 痪”“以迈出走向精神解放的第一步。”但在这部探索都柏林生活的作品中， 乔伊斯同时也为我们隐约展示了一个丰富的女性世界。这个世界虽然为其 男性人物所遮蔽和边缘化，却并不是一块黑暗沉默的大陆。相反，文本中 有许多缝隙有待弥合，许多空白有待填补，许多声音有待发现。本文拟在
