摘要 严格地说，文学翻译是语言再现的艺术，是审美的翻译。作为语 言再现的艺术，文学翻译需用另一种语言( 译语) 去再现原作的美， 这样它便具有审美体验和审美再现的过程。本研究首先探讨了文学翻 译的本质特征，进而从前人的翻译审美观念出发，提出了文学翻译中 审美再现的三个层面：即语言结构层面、形象体系层面和艺术风格层 面。在语言结构层面，本研究着重分析了文学翻译中语言的特点以及 文学翻译中所需要审美再现的美感因素，并提出了审美再现这些美感 因素的方法；在形象体系层面，本研究着重探讨了意象和意境这两个 审美再现的核心内容及其怎样去再现它们；而在艺术风格层面，本研 究从前人的翻译风格论出发，着重分析了翻译的风格闻题，进而讨论 了再现原作风格的两种方式。该研究有别于传统翻译审美中的内容与 形式的分析法。它强调用层面观来分析文学翻译的审美再现，并指出 这三个层面既相互依存相互联系又具有相对的独立性；同时，这三个 层面又是内容与形式的统一体。用层面观来探讨文学翻译中审美再现 的规律，既是对前人有关文学翻译审美层面观的继承和发展，又是一 种新的尝试和探索，这种分析模式避免了传统翻译审美中内容与形式 二分法的机械割裂的缺陷，贯穿了内容与形式相统一的辩证法，更符 合人们的审美体验。本论文所采用的理论模式是中西艺术和文学翻译
