摘要 摘要 本文从文本分析的角度对尤金奥尼尔的琼斯皇和洪深的赵阎王进行了比 较研究，探究了赵阎王在运用表现主义手法反映现实主义题材的尝试中所体现出来 的与琼斯皇不同的文体特点，并在此基础上重估了洪深在赵阎王中将表现主义 与现实主义相结合而具有的文学价值和现实意义。 本文在戏剧创作背景和戏剧文本的结构、情节、语言、人物和幻象等方面对琼斯 皇和赵阎王进行了详细比较。戏剧的表现主义风格体现了相对简单的情节和较少 的人物角色，以及反映人物心理和精神的对话和独白。而主题具有现实主义倾向的赵 阎王则在现实主义部分体现了戏剧情节和戏剧冲突的变化以及与多个戏剧人物之问的 关联，其中的对话与独白也间接地起到了延续情节发展的作用。在此基础上，赵阎王 中表现主义的对话、独白与幻象更多地指向当时的社会现实而非更高意义上的对人类善 恶本质的质问。通过对表现主义技巧的运用，洪深揭示了人民群众在精神上受到旧社会 黑暗势力的桎梏和压迫，强调这个觉醒过程的漫长以及为了自由而斗争所必然付出的生 命代价。 琼斯皇中的表现主义却将观众的注意力从情节引导到对角色心灵和精神境界的 变化上。它体现了表现主义戏剧在戏剧冲突的淡化，戏剧人物的单一化，戏剧对话独白 的内在指向性，以及象征手法的抽象性等方面的文本特点。在一个内容与形式高度统一
