内容摘要 读者意识是指作者在写作过程中设定、贴近读者对象并设法与读者建立 及维持关系以便实现写作目的的意识。或者指作者在写作时时亥想到读者的 需要并设法迎合读者需要的心理因素。国内外诸多的教育学家、心理学家、 修辞大师等都从不同角度对在写作教学过程中培养学生读者意识的必要性及 重要性进行了研究。奠菲特( m o f f e t t ) 曾说：“任何教写作的人，其首要任务 是培养读者意识，否则教学难有什么效果。”m c a l e x a n d e r ( 1 9 9 6 ) 也指出，区 分作品好、差的重要方面之一是是否关注读者的反应，因此大学英语写作教 学应注重增强学生的读者意识。但在现代大学外语写作教学中。有关写作方 面的著作及论文极少涉及读者意识，英语教师在课堂上也不太注重学生读者 意识的培养，因此大部分学生在写作过程中总是忽视读者因素。 本文从大学英语写作教学的现状出发，探讨当代大学英语写作教学近年 来黟得的成绩及存在的问题。分析产生问题的主要原因是学生缺乏读者意识。 从交际的角度看，学生写作时缺乏对读者因素的考虑容易导致作品内容不够 充实、论证推理不够深、篇章结构欠合理等。为了能够避免这些问题，本文 作者指出在大学英语写作教学过程中应该培养学生的读者意识。本文还试图 解决以下问题：1 ) 读者意识如何在写作中影响大学生英语写作? 2 ) 在不影 响日常教学秩序的情况下如何培养大学生的读者意识? 为了回答这两个问题，本文跟踪了为期三个月的写作教学实验，检验在 教学中对学生培养读者意识的结果。独立样本t 检验证明：实验组的学生写 作成绩在实验前后有显著差异。即：在课堂上有效的培养学生读者意识有助 于学生成绩的提高及写作能力的提高。对实验组的学生还进行了有关于是否
