摘要 摘要 当今世界最显著的特征便是不同语言文化背景下的人们之间的联系愈加密 切。这种跨文化交际涵盖了各个领域：教育、商务、医疗、政治、旅游、文化、 外交、新闻媒体以及娱乐业。虽然媒介和互联网使得不同国家之间的交际变得 更加方便快捷，全球化进程本身也给人们带来前所未有的交际机会，但是来自 不同国家的人们要想获得恰到好处的交际效果，却并非易事。人们之间的交往 越频繁，就越需要充分了解交际对象国家的文化背景。 时间和空间上的全球化并没有缩短人们心理上的距离。不同文化在思维方 式、语言、价值观念、态度、世界观和社会规范等方面的差异会导致他们在编 码过程中，言语和非言语行为等众多方面的差异。这些差异轻到交际中出现尴 尬局面，重到严重影响交际本身，甚至出现混乱局面。因此，对于不同文化背 景下交际的双方，想要做到成功地进行跨文化交际，就必须了解这种差异。 在上述差异中最为重要，最具有代表性的就是思维差异，也是影响跨文化 交际的最重要因素。季羡林先生( 1 9 9 8 ) 曾说：“东西方文化的区别就在于中 西思维模式，思维方式不一样，在于中西思维模式的基础不同。”本文旨在尝 试性地把中美思维方式差异进行比较，分析这些差异对跨文化交际产生的影响， 并提出克服这些不利影响的有效办法。 本文分为七章，第一章为前言，阐明了论文研究的目的、意义、以及整篇 论文的范围。第二章是文献综述，概述了本文所涉及的术语，为整个论文打下 了理论基础。第三章主要论述了中美思维差异的具体表现方面。第四章针对 上述具体差异，分析造成差异的原因。第五章探讨中美思维方式差异对中美跨 文化交际的影响。第六章针对思维方式差异对跨文化交际产生的不利影响，本 章主要提出对策来克服这些不利影响。第七章为结语，在以上讨论的基础上， 对整篇论文进行总结，并阐述该论文所具有的实践意义和局限性。 关键词：思维方式，差异，跨文化交际 a b s t r a c t t h ew o r l dt o d a yi sc h a r a c t e r i z e db yaf a s tg r o w i n gn u m b e ro fc o n t a c t sr e s u l t i n gi n c o m m u n i c a t i o na m o n gp e o p l ew i t hd i f f e r e n tl i n g u i s t i ca n dc u l t u r a lb a c k g r o u n d s t h i s c r o s s -
