After studying in the Uk, she gave us a brief but clear description about what school life in the Uk is like from her own experience.In a word, the passage covers almost every aspect of school life in the UK. After the students read this passage, they will have a general understanding of high school life from another culture. As we all know, reading belongs to the input during the process of the language learning, the input has great effect on output, such as speaking and writing. Therefore, this lesson plays an important role in this unit.According to the new standard curriculum and syllabus, after studying the teaching material, I think the teaching aims are the following.(根据新课标和教学法)1) Knowledge objects A. They must be interested in learning the differences. To understand this, the students can go through the reading strategy on page three.Step3: Fast reading for general ideasPlay the tape of the play and ask the Ss to listen to it. Use the skimming and scanning strategies to go through the passage as quickly as possible and try to find answers to the three questions in Part A. 1.How long did Wei Hua stay in Britain?
