中文摘要 中文摘要 本文旨在从语域理论的角度分析商务用途英语的修辞特点。 自从改革开放以来，随着中国经济的快速发展以及中西在贸易、技术和 文化方面的频繁交流，对商务英语的需求也与日俱增。精通商务英语的人才 的需求也在增加。商务英语作为特殊用途英语的一个分支，近年来其发展正 方兴未艾，人们对它的兴趣更浓也逐渐意识到它的重要性。 商务英语具有较强的语域特征和目的性。根据功能语言学的观点，语域 是由一套特定的语境值决定的语言变体，即由说话人从事社会活动的性质决 定的，其主要限制性变项有语场( 指所进行的社会活动的类别) 、语旨( 指交 际者之间的角色关系) 和语式( 指语言交际的符号结构) ，这些限制性变项是 同一语篇社团的成员都共同遵守的。它们的具体体现是，商务用途英语有自 己专门的词汇以及修辞的特点。本文中的修辞并不是传统的修辞也就是所谓 的修辞手段，例如明喻、暗喻、排比、拟人等。本文中的修辞是当代的修辞， 即修辞是在一种语境下有效交流的手段。 在中国，对于商务英语的研究有些滞后，目前大多数研究者指出商务英 语的语言特点，然而在语域理论指导下进行的研究还没有跟上商务英语发展 的趋势，尤其是在语域理论下研究商务英语的修辞。同时大部分研究修辞也 是停留在研究传统的修辞格阶段。有些研究商务英语特征的文章就商务语言 的特征谈语言的特征，而没有给人们一个答案为什么是这个特征，这对商务 英语特征的透彻理解没有起到很大作用，本文要解释商务英语特征的根本原 因。为此，本文作者希望把商务英语的语言特点和语域理论以及当代修辞学 有机结合起来进行研究，使人们对商务英语有更透彻地的了解，以便更好地 运用。 关键词：商务英语；修辞；语域理论 a b s t r a c t t h i st h e s i si n t e n
