意义，它把语言看作是具有意义潜势的系统并从社会环境的层次对语言进行分析而不 局限于语言本身。功能语法具有高度的理论价值又具有高度的实用价值。源于该语法 的语言所具备的三大元功能虽然极度抽象，但也完全可以用在真实的语言分析中。语 篇分析与文体学结合，并利用系统功能理论对语篇进行研究是有效的分析方法。电台 政治演说作为一种特殊的文体，国内还未有人做过功能文体方面的研究。而该文体本 身具有其自身鲜明的特点，不同于一般的演讲。其语体较为正式，篇章逻辑清晰，结 构紧凑，话题集中。并且由于该演讲是有准备的演讲，因此兼具口语和书面语的特点。 对电台政治演说的分析，将有助于我们对于该文体的把握，能对演说有更深入的了解。 本论文共分四章。第一章是对论文内容的介绍。主要介绍研究的目的，论文的结 构，以及分析材料的收集。第二章是论文的理论陈述部分，分为两部分。第一部分 主要阐述文体和文体学的理论，第二部分是关于演讲和政治演讲的介绍，主要介绍 演讲的历史、分类及特点。第三章分析演讲，即论文的正文部分，对演讲分别从概 念功能、人际功能、语篇功能的角度进行分析，分析布什每周电台演讲的语篇体裁 生成结构潜势和语篇体裁之间的关系。在概念功能方面，本文通过对语篇及物性的 过程类型统计发现电台演讲语篇在及物性方面以物质过程和关系过程为主。在人际 功能方面，从语气和情态两大方面，着重分析了语气、情态助动词、时态和语态。 在主语方面，人称代词w c 的大量出现体现了电台演讲的重要目的之一是拉近与普 通民众之间的关系。时态方面主要以过去时态和将来时态为主。因为电台演说很大 程度上是对一周工作的回顾和对今后工作的展望。在语篇功能方面，由于电台演说 主要以论述国际国内形势，表达总统的政治报负和理想为主，所以主位推进模式主
