m a d i s s e r t a t i o no f c h o n g q i n gu n i v e r s i t y 中文摘要 摘要 体的研究一直一来都是语言学界研究和讨论的热点和难点。属于印欧体系的英 语的体的研究受到了斯拉夫语言的影响，而属于汉藏语系的汉语的体的研究则又 受到了英语的影响。不管是英语还是汉语，都存在着一些关于体的争论。这些争 论有：英语中是否有体态? 其体态标记是哪些? 汉语中是否有时态? 汉语中的体 态标记是哪些? 由于传统观点对语法体和语义体是不加以区分的，对于以上这些 问题，本文通过回顾和评价前人的研究成果，采用了s m i t h ( 1 9 9 7 ) 对体的观点，认 为体态有语义体和语法体之分。语义体主要是动词内在的词汇体义，但它不是决 定句子体的唯一要素。而语法体则通过向人们提供一个选择的角度，然后结合语 义体，并且最后确定句子的最终体态一完整体或未完整体。 近年来，随着认知语言学的发展和流行，认知语言学原理及其研究方法为研究 认知语言现象提供了新的思路和角度。本文是基于有界、无界的认知概念，选择 视点和范畴化原理，对英汉中体的现象作了认知分析，来揭示两种语言背后不同 的认知结构和内部机制。经过研究发现，英汉语的体是大不相同的，汉语的体态 要比英语丰富的多。汉语的体虽然不像英语那样富于屈折变化，但是汉语却可以 用时间状语来表达体，比如通过“明天，昨天”等。英语的体主要是由动词承载， 具有规定性或强制性，而汉语的体态相对来说则是非规定性或非强制性的，具有 更大的自由。而且我们还发现汉语中71 是完整体的原型，正在和蓍分别是未完整 体的进行体和状态体的原型，而英语中的完整体原型是现在完成体( h a v e + p p ) ，未
