摘要 摘要 赫尔受 梅尔维尔在十九世纪曾一度被冷落和忽视， 然而，二十世纪初， 人们重新认识到梅尔维尔的重要性，出 现了 “ 梅尔维尔复兴” 的现象。他创作的 最后一部作品 比利 巴德 虽然在其故去后才得以出 版， 但是该书引起了 激烈 的探讨和评论，成为学术研究成果的重要来源。 学术界采用了各种各样的方法分析了 比 利 巴德 。 最初批评家认为该书 是“ 顺从的自白 ” ， 后来又称该书为“ 反抗的自白 ” 。有人用法律方法分析的书 中的正义和非正义的问题，解释了维尔船长的判断、行为和动机。还有用解构 主义的观点分析本书，认为不同的解读策略造成了不同的结果。 笔者以法国当代著名思想家米歇尔 福柯非常具有影响的著作 规训与惩 罚一监狱的诞生 中关于规训权力以及其他关于话语与真理的论述为立论视角， 考察了 比利 巴 德中的圆形监狱形象、 规训的方法、 权力的关系、 对权力的
