摘要 语境是语言学研究中一个很重要的概念，国内外的许多语言学家对它不断地进 行研究，如社会语言学家、人类语言学家、心理语言学家等等，他们运用不同的分 析方法，从不同的角度对语境进行深入的探讨，尽管他们的研究已经取得了一定的 成果，但同时也存在着这样那样的不足；他们的研究大都只专注于对语境某一方面 的研究，不够全面、系统。 本论文主要是运用维索尔伦在其著作语用学新解中提出的语言顺应理论对 新闻报道中的语境进行顺应性分析，对新闻语境下潜在的顺应性问题进行观察分析， 可以获得对语境顺应性研究不同的认识和理解，从而做出描述和揭示隐藏在新闻报 道中的言语表现和语言运用的基本特征和规律。本论文同时试图证实语境顺应对研 究现实当中的语言使用具有很强的解释力。 比利时语言学家维索尔伦在1 9 9 9 年提出了语用综观论，其理论将语用学看作对 语言的综观比把语用学看作是语言学的一个分支学科要更加科学。其中，顺应论是 语用综观论的核心内容。维索尔伦认为语言的使用是一个不断选择语言的过程；语 言使用者能在语言中进行选择是因为语言具有变异性、协商性和顺应性。顺应又是 双向的：人们根据语境进行语言选择：语境也会相应地顺应所做的语言选择。 另外，本论文选取了新闻报道作为语境分析的材料。新闻报道的形式多样，内 容丰富，写作、手法各不相同，但无论什么样的形式、内容、手法，最终都离不开 语言和语言的使用。而新闻报道中的语言及其使用，尽管因新闻报道的内容、方法、 手法各不相同，依然是有规律可循的。与其它体裁的语篇相比，新闻报道具有生动、 鲜明、时效性强等特点。而且与生活密切相关，具有代表性。本论文认为，语境顺 应是新闻报道中意义动态生成的内在规律，它无论是在构成新闻报道的构建过程中， 还是读者对新闻报道的理解过程中都发挥了重要作用。因此，本论文是以新闻报道 为语料对其进行语境顺应性的分析。本论文中作者试图回答以下几个问题：新闻报 i i i 道语境中的语言使用是一个什么样的过程? 新闻报道中的语言顺应的对象是什么? “顺应是如何进行的”? 为什么会出现这种顺应? 顺应论从认知、社会和文化的角度对新闻报道中的语境进行分析，是对其他语 境研究的有益补充。 关键词：新闻报道顺应 语境
