它分为素问和灵枢两部分，前者较为详尽地论述了人体生理、病理、诊断、 治疗的有关内容；后者的核心内容是脏腑经络学说和针灸方法。本文以前者为研究 对象。 黄帝内经的英译研究事业始于2 0 0 0 年，其发展因跨英语和中医学两个领域 而倍受局限。从2 0 0 0 年至今，仅有2 2 篇相关论文诞生，包括1 1 篇学位论文。其中 6 篇学位论文( 2 0 0 7 年一篇，2 0 0 9 年五篇) 都出自南京中医药大学医史文献专业，由 同一导师施蕴中教授指导；出自上海中医药大学医史文献专业的学位论文有两篇； 仅有三篇学位论文出自非中医大学的英语语言文学专业，且2 0 0 9 年之后暂无相关 学位论文出现。因此，黄帝内经的英译研究事业发展极不平衡，更多英语专业 研究者的参与显得尤为必要。本文的研究因此具有一定的意义。 本文以刘宓庆的文化翻译理论为指导，从词汇、语法和篇章三个层面对i l z a v e i t h 和李照国的黄帝内经素问英译本进行对比分析，旨在了解不同的文化因 素对母语为源语言和非源语言译者翻译行为和翻译策略选择的影响，以及时间跨度 如此之大的两个译本( 1 9 4 9 2 0 0 5 ) 在文化翻译上的差别。 该研究发现： 一、在文化系统的四个层次一物质形态层、典章制度层、行为习俗层、心理( 心 智) 活动层一中，心理( 心智) 活动层的文化信息对v e i t h 这位母语为非源语言的译 者造成的文化障碍最大，较易致使其发生严重的解读错误，并在翻译中结果中体现 出来。其次是行为习俗层的文化信息。而这两者对于李照国这位以源语言为母语的 译者影响都不是太大。 二、v e i t h 和李照国在处理不同层次的文化信息时。会采用不同的表现方法。比 如，对于物质形态层次的文化空缺，v e i t h 可能通过图解表现法等非常规翻译手段， 直观地解释相关文化信息。而李照国通常使用文字阐释表现法来实现翻译目的。 三、两位译者在保证意义有效传递的同时，均力求保持译文与原文在形式上的 一致。但两者在形式保持的侧重上却有所不同：v e i t h 在句法层面使用了异化策略， 放弃英语常用的复合句，最大限度地使用简单句，通过大量加入主语的方法将将汉 语中典型的无主句小句转换成语法成分较为完整的英语句子，从而使译文句子的数 量与原文的小句数量保持一致；李照国则在文化负载词语的翻译上广泛使用拼音音 译加注的异化策略，不仅保持了与原文形态上的一致，也降低了信息耗散的可能。 四、两位译者都为可能需要英汉对照阅读的读者提供了便利。v e i t h 追求句子数 量一致的做法在此也具有一定意义。李照国在段落前加注数字标记，和用 】标记添 加信息的做法，更是有目的性地便利回译的举动。由于李本中的 】太多，在某种程度
