硕士学侄论文 m a s t e r s t h e s i s 内容摘要 中国萌芽时期儿童文学翻译是指晚清到“五四”时期儿童文学的翻译。目前，国 内儿童文学翻译研究这一领域鲜有人涉猎。本文旨在对萌芽时期儿童文学的翻译作 一个系统而详尽的研究，与此同时结合勒弗菲尔的操控理论及埃文佐哈尔多元系统 论中的“经典”理论分析此时期政治意识形态是如何操纵儿童文学翻译的，并寻找出 儿童文学起源于“五四”而并非晚清的原因，得出中国儿童文学始于“五四”时期的结 论。 论文首先指出儿童文学的概念及其功能，接着介绍了当前中国几童文学翻译研 究现状。随后说明这一研究的重要意义及本文的结构。 在大致介绍之后，论文作者介绍了本文中采用的理论。翻译研究派代表人物之 一a 丑d 聆k 6 w c r e 认为，影响翻译家翻译策略的主要有两个因素，即“翻译家的意识 层次之分在某部分翻译文学占据中心位置的同时，另一部分的翻译文学可能处 于边缘位置。”处于中心的就有可能被经典化，成为翻译文学的经典。这与勒弗菲 尔的观点有异曲同工之妙，即“系统总是制定一个衡量当今创作的诗学标准。因此， 有文学作品会上升为经典，而其它的却被拒绝。”作者认为，“经典”的文化功能即 意识形态操控目标的实现。 在详细介绍了理论及作者观点之后，作者分别对晚清及“五四”时期的儿童文学 翻译作了详尽而系统的研究。晚清这一部分分别从翻译的总体情况、儿童文学翻译 的总体特点、理论分析几方面进行研究：“五四”时期则是分别从译作分类、儿童文 学翻译的总体特点、文研会翻译的成就及理论分析等几方面进行论述。这些方面都 能够最好地体现二个时期翻译的特点。 基于上述讨论，作者分别从三个方面探讨儿童文学源于“五四”而并非晚清的原 因。作者认为，“五四”时期，产生儿童文学的社会、思想条件才完全成熟；儿童文 学作品并不等于儿童文学，晚清时期对儿童文学各种具体体裁的提倡只是为“五四” 时期儿童文学的诞生做了必不可少的文学上的准备：“五四”时期，中国风格的儿童 文学作品诞生，其标志为叶圣陶的第一个童话集稻草人的问世。 硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s
