中文摘要 摘要 广播新闻和报纸新闻是当代社会入们获取信息的重要手段。虽然它们都属于 新闻传媒，但是因为传播途径不同，广播是通过声音和或影像来传播，而报纸是 通过文字来传播，这样决定了他们二者之间既有相同点，又有不同点。对于英语 新闻工作者或英语学习者而言，了解他们的异同在新闻写作方面会有很大的帮助； 故此本论文将上述两种媒体的新闻作为研究目标。 本文作者为了对上述两种媒体的异同进行研究分别建立了1 0 0 万字的美国英 语广播语料库和美国英语报纸语料库。根掘现代文体学的理论，运行计算机程序 f o x p r o 和统计工具s p s s 对两者在字系，词汇，语法以及语义等方面进行了定量和 定性分析。结果显示二者在词汇和语义方面有很多的相似点：广播与报纸的平均 单词长度，正式词汇的使用频率都无明显差异，而且两者在新词，模糊语，衔接 手段，语篇模式以及修辞手法等方面都基本相似，因为它们都属于新闻语域。但 是由于传播途径不同，它们在语法和字系方面有很大的差别：报纸的平均段落单 词数，平均句长都比广播长，标点密度比广播密集，并列连词和从属连词使用频率 也比广播高，两者在表示数据，时间，入名以及称呼时也各有其特征。另外，广 播中的被动语态使用频率比报纸高。总之，两者既有共同点也有不同点。 关键宇：广播；报纸；文体特征；语域 英文摘要
