摘要 改革丌放的今天，翻译是让中国了解世界，也是让世界了解中国的重要手段。 全球一体化和改革开放给中国带来了巨大的机遇，也给译者们带来了许多挑战。 大量具有中国特色的关于政治、经济和文化等方面的具体表达需要准确恰当地翻 译成英语，这种具有显著中国文化特征的词汇被称为“汉文化专有项”。随着全球 一体化进程的进一步加快，特别是进入世界贸易组织以来，中国积极参与国际商业 贸易活动，国际上对中国的商业报道同益增多，其中不免涉及由东西方不同社会经 济文化差异而形成的”文化专有项”，外国读者对其背景知识尚未接触或并不太了 解，译者在英译过程中应设法化解这些差异，恰当转换文化专有项。本文意在讨论 针对这些文化专有项的翻译策略。作者对文化专有项作了界定，介绍并分析了目前 文化专有项的主要翻译策略异化策略及其应用修正。通过分析，作者发现就 文化传播而论，异化翻译策略是翻译文化专有项的最佳策略，比归化策略更能达 到翻译的目的传播文化，体现翻译的忠实性，进而为解决翻译中文化传播的 问题提供了具体的翻译方法。作者以中国日报上详尽的汉文化专有项翻译例 证为基础，分析了各种异化翻译方法的优劣，详细论述了异化翻译理论对文化专 有项翻译的应用研究，并指出“异化”策略有利于保存汉语的文化韵味，从而达 到对外汉语推广，树立民族形象的目的。 关键词：汉文化专有项，异化策略，归化策略，文化传播 a b s t r a c t f o r e i g n i z a t i o ns t r a t e g yi nt h et r a n s l a t i o no fc h i n e s ec u l t u r e -
