内容摘要 陶渊明是继屈原之后，李白和杜甫之前最伟大的诗人，在我国乃至世界诗坛上 享有崇高的声誉。他的诗歌“一语天然万古新，豪华落尽见真淳 ( 元好问，论诗 三十首其四) ，因此引无数译家竞折腰。陶诗清新质朴，字里行间流露出作者崇 尚自然，安贫乐道的精神气质。因此在翻译过程中如何对其进行正确阐释便成为关 键所在。 “理解 是阐释的前提，不管什么类型的翻译，都涉及对原文的理解与解释。 理解是对原文的接受，解释则是对原文的阐发。因而作为一门关于理解和解释的科 学，阐释学与翻译有着不解之缘。在文学翻译中，阐释学既是一种文本分析的方法， 同时也是一种理解艺术形式和揭示隐含意义的过程。阐释学的代表人物伽达默尔认 为，任何理解都是一种具有时间体系的评价，没有绝对的客观性的认识，一部作品 原作者的意识并不重要，重要的是我们如何看待原作品的意识。理解活动是个人视 域与历史视域的融合，文学翻译是主体间( 译者和原作者) 通过对象( 文本) 的互相沟 通、对话。 本文尝试以伽达默尔的主要观点“理解的历史性 和“视域融合 为理论基础， 对陶渊明诗集的中外两个不同的译本( 汪榕培译本和w i l l i 锄a c k e r 译本) 的一些例 子进行对比研究。通过理论与译本分析的结合，宏观和微观分析的互渗，来透视两 个译本中译者与原文原作者的视域融合问题。 本文共分为五章。第一章为导论部分，扼要介绍了研究背景、研究意义和文章 基本结构。第二章是理论基础部分，阐述了翻译与阐释学的关系( 包括阐释学历史 的简要回顾和伽达默尔的哲学阐释学的几个重要观点) ，并介绍了阐释学理论在翻 译研究中的应用。第三章简要介绍了陶渊明生平、陶诗的主题和风格特点以及陶诗 英译。第四章是本文的主体部分，结合伽达默尔阐释学的“视域融合 、“理解的历 史性”等理论对陶渊明诗歌的中外两个译本进行了系统的对比研究，从词汇的处理、 句子的重构、意象的翻译、意境的再现、诗歌形式的重建等五个方面讨论了两个译 本中的视域融合问题。第五章是文章的结论部分，对全文的主题进行了总结和归纳， 认为译者应该通过不断学习来修正非法偏见，扩大视域；翻译是对话和阐释的循环 硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s 的过程；文学作品是个开放的需要被阐释的符号体系，视域融合可以在作者、译者 和读者之间达成。 关键词：阐释学；理解的历史性；视域融合；翻译；陶渊明 硕士学位论文 m a s t e r st h e s i s a b s t r a c t 7 i a oy u 锄m 证g ( 3 6 5 -
