摘要 等待野蛮人与耻是南非作家j m 库切的两部寓言式作品。等 待野蛮入讲述了一段某虚拟帝国对游牧部落发动战争的虚拟历史，具有 普遍意义，它是当年殖民者在南菲建立自色神话的隐喻，时隔近二十年后 出版的耻于2 0 0 3 年赢得了诺贝尔大奖。耻表面上描写的似乎是爱 欲与道德以及黑人对白人的报复与折磨，而实际上这部小说写作的背景是 在后种族隔离时代的新南非，自人昔日殖民者主子身份消失，黑人主体身 份回归，臼人在南j 皇所建立的白色神话正在消解。因此这部小说它包含了 对白色神话进行消解的策略及其过程，从而使耻这部小说在结构与主 题意义上与等待野蛮人形成了一种关照，具有巨大的张力。笔者把这 两部小说进行比较研究，从而能在宏观上对白色神话在南非从建立到消解 进行整体系统的窥探与把握，从而跳脱肢离破碎的研究，拓展了研究意义， 为对库切作品的研究起到抛砖引玉的作用。 本文主要从后殖民主义视角，运用萨义德的东方主义身份理论研究这 两部小说。第一章探讨南非白色神话建立的动机，策略，过程。谣方自柏 拉图以来就有逻各斯中心主义的传统，这一传统的表现就是西方自认为优 越东方进而对自身进行想像自恋性描写，它的功用就是构建自身身份，而 自我身份的构建又涉及到他者，他者是自我身份构建的陪衬，是个问题 的两个方面，而这两者又是想像性构建，要使这一身份构建成功，还涉及 到权利的运作。这一殖民自色神话的建立过程在等待野蛮人中表现得 淋漓尽致。他们运用知识系统，霸权话语，暴力来确定自身的殖民者身份 和东方他者身份即被殖民者的身份。第二章在耻中探讨了南非白色神 话的消解。卢里与露西这一原白入殖民者的代表在动态的身份构建过程中， 从众多的他者身上反观自身，发现自己先前的殖民者身份已失，西方文明 在南非开始陨落，他们已失声进入沉默。同时，就佩特鲁斯这一黑人代表 i l l 而言，他们的主体性重现，从边缘开始位移，昔日被殖民者的身份已被丢 弃，开始扬眉吐气，南非白色神话开始消解。第三章主要探讨南非白色神话 消解过程中以及之后的南非困境，发现问题，建议可行性出路。那就是从 根子上除掉黑白二元对立的等级思想，进行主体之间的平等交往，实行黑白 和谐共处。 关键词：库切；等待野蛮人；耻i 白色神话；建立；消解 i v a b s t r a c t 肠f 魄力厂砌p
