摘要 语义歧视，是对语畜中性别歧视现象的研究内容之一，它是语言中所反映出来的对 某些人的歧视。尽管针对男女两种性别都可能有语义歧视，但实际上，语义歧视主要指 词语和句子所蕴含的对于女性的消极内涵和消极定式。 语言中的很多方面都可以反映出语义歧视的存在，动物隐喻就是其中一个方面。动 物隐喻的工作机制，亦即它的认知模式，以i 丑k o f f 和1 、l m e r 于1 9 8 9 年所提出的大链锁 隐喻( g r c a tc h a i nm e t a p h o r ) 为基础，这使得我们能够以动物为参照来理解人的行为和 特征，或者以人为参照来理解动物的行为和特征。基于菇丝髟是爹崖这个隐喻的动物隐 喻使始源域中的共性映射到目标域中的个性成为可能。 本文将英汉两组动物词汇豇咖如而d 历绷肋gf 狮籀狸赫和d 锯怡f f c b 曲咖i ：硝 f 狗f 母狗) 为研究对象进行对比认知分析，运用十九本富有权威且广泛使用的英语和汉语 字典和词典来收集语料，通过对字典中所得词语意义的对比分析，找出这些隐喻意义的 相同点和不同点，并且通过基于动物舻 和久助动鳓塞两个隐喻的认知分析，发现了动 物隐喻中的语义歧视。 有关这些动物词汇隐喻用法的以下四个方面是本文的主要研究问题。首先，本文旨 在找出英汉两种语言中动物隐喻的概念化是否相同。其次，要发现两种语言中的动物隐 喻中是否含有语义歧视。再次，如果语义歧视确实存在，它是否适用于男女两性。最后， 通过对语料分析结果的比较，指出两种语言中是否存在相同程度的语义歧视。 在对英汉动物隐喻的对比认知分析基础之上，本文得出以下结论：一是即使文中分 析的动物词汇在两种语言中的意义有所差别，但它们确实都有适用于人的隐喻用法；二 是这些动物隐喻确实存在某种程度上的语义歧视；三是用于女性的词语之中要比用于男 性的词语包含更多的语义歧视：四是在英汉两种语言中存在不同程度上的语义歧视。 尽管文中关于英汉两组动物隐喻的对比认知研究有一定的局限性，但该研究既有一 定的理论意义，也有的一定的现实意义。理论上，它丰富了关于动物隐喻的理论，面且 也为动物隐喻中存在对于女性的语义歧视的系统性提供了佐证。实践上，它还有助于提 高人们对于自己和对于动物的认识。 关键词：语义歧视；动物隐喻；认知分析；对比分析 i v a
