西南交通大学硕士研究生学位论文第1 页 摘要 戏剧作品是文学艺术的重要组成部分，作品在各国之间翻译、流传的历 史可谓源远流长。然而，一直以来，学术界给予戏剧翻译的关注却非常有限。 究其原因，主要在于戏剧具有双重性：一部戏剧作品既可以被看作是文学作 品，同时戏剧的本质又决定了它是舞台艺术的一个有机组成部分，是戏剧演 出的根本。戏剧只有通过演出，它的价值才能充分体现出来。作为一个特殊 的文学形式，戏剧文本的首要目标是为了演出，其次才是为了阅读。 戏剧文本的“二元性 决定了其翻译的特殊性。戏剧翻译有自己的标准 和特点。“茶馆是老舍先生在语言艺术上成就最高的巨作，早就脍炙人口， 在戏剧界是有名的一句台词勾画一个人物的好戏。( 英若诚，1 9 9 9 ：6 ) 它 的特点非常明显：浓郁的北京方言、丰富的文化内涵以及个性化、简洁、幽 默的人物语言。这些特点使得茶馆在国内外戏剧界享有很高的声誉。可 以说该剧的魅力就是来自于老舍对人物及其方言的刻画和剧中所体现出来的 “京味文化。然而，茶馆的以上特点对译者提出了很大的挑战。如何将 原文中的语言文化特征准确而生动地传达给观众和读者是对译者的挑战。 本文选择顺应理论作为理论框架。顺应理论强调：语言运用的过程即是 语言选择的过程。语言的使用可定义为不断地做出“语言选择 ，这种选择可 发生在任何一个层面上；既可发生在话语的产出，也可发生在话语的解释， 选择的重点既可在形式，也可在策略。顺应理论中的语境维度是本文用于分 析比较的工具。语言到底和什么构成相互适应? v e r s c h u c r e n 认为( 2 0 0 0 ) ， 交际时间中的任何一个要素都有可能成为适应性的语境相关成分。这些潜在 的相关因素由于被引入发话人( u u t t e r e r ) 和释话人( 旨在分析两个英译本对茶馆语言特色以及文化因素的翻译能否做到语境 顺应，并评价译本的可演性。 本文分为六部分：第一部分为简介，简要地介绍茶馆原作者老舍， 茶馆的文学地位以及茶馆的翻译研究。第二部分扼要介绍了顺应理 论和戏剧文本的特点。从第三部分到第五部分，作者将茶馆的语言特点 归纳为三个方面：北京方言、俗语以及富有文化色彩的词语。在这三个部分
