s y n t a c t i c t r a n s f e r a n d s t r a t e g y i n t h e t c a c h i n g o f e n g l i s h w r i t i n g 摘要 大量的研究表明，人们要对第二语言习得或外语学习现象做出充分的解释， 就必须要考虑语言迁移这一因素( g a s s s e l i n k e r , 1 9 9 2 ) 。由于中国大学生相对完 善的母语的存在，母语迁移现象在其英语作为第二语言的习得中更加不能被忽 视。因此，母语在二语习得中的作用值得认真的研究。通常，母语迁移分为正迁 移和负迁移。当母语和二语的形式重合时，来自母语的正迁移能够帮助学生习得 二语；相反，当母语和二语的存在不同时，此时来自母语的负迁移就可能导致学 生在二语习得中出现错误。 本文试图从二语习得理论的角度对母语迁移及在大学英语课堂里的应用相 关教学策略进行实证研究。基于语言迁移理论，错误分析，对比分析，该实证研 坑收集6 3 位华侨大学理工类大一新生一学年四次的随堂作文。为了说明句法和 作文总分的密切关系，四名英语老师( 包括笔者) 对6 3 位学生的第一份作文打 分。每篇作文分别有四个独立的成绩，即句法，词汇，内容和总分，它们之间互不 相关，总分是对该作文的最后评分而非其他三个分数之和。通过s p s s 分析四个 成绩之间的相关度，作者得出：句法和词汇与总分都有显著的正相关；句法知识 相对词汇知识和作文的总分有更高的正相关。数据结果表明学生对作文中的句法 知识的掌握和流利运用较大程度影响了其作文总分的高低，这也说明学生把背诵 词汇作为英语写作的第一任务是不正确的。既然句法错误的多少很大程度上影响 总分的高低，那么，研究分析学生主要句法错误是很有价值。 本文的核心在于找出学生写作中主要的句法错误，并分析其成因，即母语负 迁移在学生英语写作中的影响。同时笔者在大学英语课堂里应用对比分析教学策 略来帮助学生提高英语写作水平，可以有效地避免母语的负迁移。 本文试图分析并解决以下问题： 1 大学英语作文中旬法知识的熟练程度和作文的总分是否相关? 2 中国大学生通常会犯哪些句法错误，这些错误都和他们的母语有关系吗? 3 通过应用中英文句法方面的对比分析教学策略，在何种程度上我们可以帮助 学生认识并有效防止母语负迁移从而优化他们的英语写作? 摘要 本文同时采用了定量和定性的研究方法，包括收集学生的作文，问卷调查和 对不同程度的学生的采访，得出以下三点结论： 1 应用s p s s 软件对四名教师的评分进行统计分析，我们得出句法错误的多少较 大影响作文总分的高低，即句法知识相对于词汇知识和作文的总分有较大的 正相关，因此把背诵单词作为提高写作的第一任务是不恰当的，句法知识和 词汇应该是同等总要的。当然，我们也不否认词汇在写作中的重要性，该研 究建议学生同时也应该把注意力放到句法知识的掌握和应用上。 2 在中国大学生英语写作中主要存在的句法错误：1 ) 主谓不一致；2 ) 流水句 3 ) 状语的位置错误；4 ) 定语的位置错误。 3 通过对以上错误的分析，我们发现大部分的句法错误都能在他们的母语一汉 语中找到痕迹，这也印证了在教学中应用汉英对比分析的策略的重要性。 本文对语言迁移理论进行了较深入的研究，希望有助于英语教师更进一步了 解学生作文中的句法错误，同时，文中应用的语言迁移对比分析教学策略也不失 为一个帮助学生克服英语写作中的句法迁移错误，提高学生的英语写作水平的有 力工具。
