l i ud a n ：ac o r p u s - b a s e ds t u d yo r ll e x i c a lb u n d l e si ne n g l i s ha r g u m e n t a t i v ew r i t i n g so f c h i n e s ee n g l i s hm a j o r s中文摘要结构主义语言学理论认为语言是高度系统化的，由语法规则支配的独立体系近年来，这一观点受到越来越多的挑战。在语言生成系统中，人们可以根据句法规则用单词构建无数短语和句子，然而并非所有合乎语法规则的短语乖句子都有意义。一些短语在特定语境下被赋予特定的语用功能并逐步演变为固定或半固定的结构，本文把这类结构称作“词丛升。本族语者掌握成千上万个词丛，因此能将语言能力和语言行为有机相结合在一起，流利、准确地表达思想，实现交际目的。本文对母语者和中国英语专业学生议论文写作中的高频词组合，即词丛的使用情况进行研究目的在于对比两种语言使用者议论文中词丛的使用频率及其在结构和功能两个层面的分布情况。本文拟回答三个研究问题：( 1 ) 议论文写作中，母语者与中国英语学习者使用的词丛分布特点分别是什么? ( 2 ) 在结构和功能两个层面，母语者与中国英语学习者的词丛使用情况存在哪些差异? ( 3 ) 导致中美大学生词丛使用差异的主要因素有哪些?本研究选取了两个笔语语料库进行对比研究。一个是学习者语料库，包括中国英语专业四个年级学生的作文2 5 0 篇，题材都是议论文，约8 0 ，0 0 0 词。另一个是本族语者语料库，约1 1 0 篇，选自l o c n e s s 语料库，题材也是议论文，约8 7 ，0 0 0 词。在语料分析过程中，利用语料库分析软件，提取并统计两个语料库中目标词丛的频次，并进行定量分析。然后从形式与功能两个层面将目标词丛进行归类，并结合具体语境，通过定性分析，找出中国英语学习者和母语者议论文中词丛使用的差异。根据分析结果，本研究主要得到以下结论：首先，议论文写作中，母语者与中国英语学习者词丛使用总体存在明显差异。中国英语学习者出现词丛总体使y a n g z h o uu n i v e r s i t y ：m a t h e s i s用过度和部分使用不足的情况，并且在书面表达中存在口语化倾向。其次，从结构和功能层面看，两种语言使用者均存在显著差异。主要表现在：从结构角度看，“人称代词+ 动词”类排在过度使用的三种结构首位。“名词代词+ b e 动词”类则表现出严重使用不足。从功能角度看，中国英语学习者表现出偏爱绝对和概括的表达方式，以及在解决问题时表现出强烈的主观看法。相比之下，母语者更倾向于具体、客观的陈述以及带有建议性的话语。第三，造成中国学习者词丛使用过度及不足现象的主要原因在于母语的负迁移，学习方法不当等。以上研究结果表明，词丛的习得和运用构成了语言学习不可或缺的组成部分，应该得到英语学习者的高度重视。母语者词丛的使用特点为中国英语学习者提高英语书面表达的地道性和准确性提供了重要的参考依据。当然，本研究仍存在一些不足之处，比如研究对象局限和研究方式单一等，其结论仍有待于进一步验证和讨论。后续研究可以扩大样本范围，完善类别划分及丰富研究方法，从而更深入，更全面地探究词丛在二语习得中的作用。关键词：词丛；语料库；结构；功能l
