摘要 进入2 l 世纪，翻译研究的重点渐渐的从语言分析转向文化因素的探讨，跨文 化交际成了翻译研究的主题之一，各种关于文化移植的理论极大地丰富了翻译理 论的研究。由于文化交流已经成为当今世界的主流，忠实地翻译文化负载词变得 越来越重要，因为它能帮助英文读者了解中国文化进而推动跨文化交流的发展。 在鲁迅小说选集中 b 现了大量的文化负载词，它们构成了鲁迅小说的一大特 色。这些文化负载侧最直接地反映了中国文化的个性特征。但是，它们却给跨文 化交流和汉英翻泽造成了障碍。因此，探讨这些文化负载训及其翻译有着重要的 现实意义。 本文从跨文化交流的角度出发，分析了语言、文化和翻译之间的关系，提出 文化与语言密切相关，语言反映文化，又受到文化的制约，而翻译是跨文化交流 的一种重要手段。结合文化负载词的自身特点，本文同时分析了鲁迅小说选集 中文化负载词所反映的文化含义，并且分析了其表现形式以及在跨文化交际中的 作用。本文还列举了一些影响文化负载词汇翻译的一些主要因素，重点探讨了文 本及翻译的目的，读者的接受力对译者在翻译策略选择的影响。同时，笔者认为： 忠实原则在翻译文化负载词汇时表现为文化忠实。在这个翻译过程中译者应该始 终具备敏锐的文化意识，准确发现文本中的文化焦点以及其要表达的文化内涵， 选择相应的翻译策略和方法，忠实而有效地传达文本的文化意义，以达到跨文化 交流的目的。文章通过鲁迅小说选集的两个著名译本对文化负载词的翻译对 比分析，归纳了归化和异化的翻译策略以及其指导下的六种主要的翻译方法在文 化负载词汇翻译中的具体应用。归化能够很好的保留不同文化的风格特点而异化 则能够有效的提高可读性，促进文化交流融合，二者应该丑：相补充。最后指出： 要成功地把方方面面的文化信息移植出去，先要抓住文本的文化焦点即文化负载 词瓠：的概念意义和文化内涵，再根据文化忠实的原则选择相应的处理方法，以达 到文化交流的目的。 本文主要由三部分组成：简介，理论基础和译例分析以及总结。第一章主要 介绍了文化的概念以及其与语言及翻译的关系，并介绍翻译研究中的文化转向。 第二! 章主要叙述文化负载词及其在文化交流与传播中的作刚以及指导文化负载词
