摘要 布朗琪杜波依斯是美国剧作家田纳西威廉斯代表作欲望号街车中 最重要的人物形象：关于她的性格特征和悲剧性经历的评论层出不穷，但结论 却大相径庭。有评论家把该剧看成是道德剧，而布朗琪正是因为自身的性乱而 受到了惩罚；另一部分人则坚信布朗琪的故事是一个特例，难以在其他人身上 得到例证；此外，田纳西威廉斯也往往被看作致力于人物心理刻画的戏剧家。
